I don't understand why they made this phone. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but why doesn't this one have UMTS. Because as far as I know that's the only difference.

the best way to update ur firmware to have it Flashed from authorised dealer otherwise just updating will give u more gitters.
k790i camera cover is is failure anyway,even while using ur fingers r on it somehow.Se has to make different shape to market BUt without practical advice.

also the firmware isn't what's causing freezing!!!!!!!!!!! it's the hardware!!!! if your k790 is freezing send it back and get a new one!!! there is no way to solve the freezing issue with a firmware update or downgrad!!!! hasha

also what that bongillo said down there about shutting off the shutter sound isn't true. You can't turn the shutter sound off with all firmware, only certain firmware allows you to turn the shutter sound off. so yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow nice one, the best cam quality, and sound for mp3 player, this day. but still far below samsung d820 for the video recording quality. D820 has CIF quality :)
wish that SE will try to make a phone with capability of changing the case like NOKIAs

Hi Folks,
Buying this phone is like buying a lottery.
You may win you may loose, but the guy who runs the lottery is always the winner.
I have had a lot of problems with this phone.
It may work well or just begin to hang up on you. Try getting service in India. Its a nightmare. They do you a favour. Even the local SE Manager.........has different priorities. Many who have had problems and have visited a service center in Mumbai will confirm this. A bit of advise if you still want to go for this phone take the latest month of manufacturer. In october take september imported. This phone has still to have its problems fixed. It started selling at Rs. 21400/- in August. If the price has fallen, then read between the lines.

No problems yet with the phone. Everything OK! The PC software is not well designed. (no uninstall) Takes a lot of time to install the 81236 drivers, well about 8. I'll say the the PC software do the job.
