Can you use MP3 as a message tone? - is there any audio (like beep) or visual (like flashing light) notification at a later time that you have missed a call or txt message?

It may be hard to believe but I once tried to film a small stop-motion movie with my k800i and took over 300 photos, maybe 1/3 of them with flash. And when I finished the battery was still at -+20% capacity, which allows you to take a bunch of photos more!
PS: I treated the phone very well, and I was very fond of it for about a year and a half, but weeks ago it died of WSOD. I tried flashing it with lots of programs but still no result... Now I have a K810i which has 99% of the features ok k800i but has better ergonomics. However it still has the same stupid internet shortcut button, even bigger than in k800i and it is very annoying because it's very easy to press it and connect to web without willing or noticing it. For me it's the major defect I can find to the phone.

Does anyone know what is the maximum external memory it can support? Is it up to 2GB or only 1GB?

I like this K800 camera,i think first class,but what i don't like in comparation with Nokia is the Symbian-SE don't have!Finally the music on this K800 it's not so good,and the signal and power life of battery!

i bought my k800 last april and i simply love it..
but what's the difference between k800i and k810i??

hay i have had this phone for 6 months and now the 6 and 4 buttons sometimes dont work. also i encountered that i want to change my background but it says cannot use file. can anyone email me at billa_12@hotmail.com to help me.
i love this fone and i dont want to get rid of it due to all this.

The thing that pissed me off about this phone is the conversion of the video clips. This phone doesn't accept all codecs of video clips except 3gp video's. Which means you have to convert most of your movies if they are any other codecs besides 3gp.

is that possible that,if the botton 2 and cancel are not working, the software are corrupted need to reprogram, or just the keypad its self are defective?..

andy forrester, 01 Jun 2008my k800i wont switch on every time i try to switch it on a ... moreThe same thing happened to my sony erricson ..i wuld suggest u to send it over for servicing as soon as possible. thats wat i did...but they sent back bcuz the damage was beyond repair...my reason was dat i dropped it in water while i was at beach.

Hye, i'm a bit confused with the specs give.
Why this phone cannot play aac music files?
it does said that the phone is able to play mp3 and aac.
may someone please answer my question, and it would be very helpful if it can be solved.

been trying to set up email on my k800 for yahoo. i got the server adresses alright but when i want to check my inbox it keeps on telling me...incorrect username or password.i am sure that the username and password are correct coz wen i log in to yahoo they are accepted. whats up with that? anyone!!!!

hi. i just bought the phone last april. looks perfect, only problem is that sometimes the image get cracked while taking and saving it to M2 card.. but overall i recommend this phone. all the flash and the digicam interface looks impressing. sounds so good. i like it transfering mp3 and mp4 between my laptop..

tell ya what, if u want a chep and good quality camera phone, then this is the best choice. plus it has a good music player. there bad things about this phone, my one has a joy stick problem and i think it is also too chubby, i wanted a phone that is like the rizr z8.

I HAD THAT SAME THING HAPPEN TO my phone.my software was gone apparently and i had to pay alot to reinstall or reset my software.most likely ur prob is the software.if anyone can post links such as ones buddhika posted you can prob reinstall the software yourself
