the display of liquid screen had cracked when passing from inside to outside, a fern leaf model appeared on the display. the phone is functional, but the screen does not show anything. can that be repaired? and if so, how much could it cost? is it possible that the inside liquid to affect the mother board of the phone, as i understood, that is not protected from liquids. thank u in advance

i'm using a 4gb m2 sony card on my k800i(you need the original softwere)i have put the w880i acoustics drivers and works veryy good,the sound is better then n73 me,(you must heve fw ci52)and today i installed the w900i video driver,and now it shoots video in qvga resolution(320*240)the movies are played veryy smoothy on the screen,this operation can make you crazy,but it worthit,cause now i have a better phone(sound and video shooting better then n73)

yup, i do owned 6233 before and its 'loudness' cant be compared with k800. but if you're going to listen thru headsets, you'll quickly notice the sound quality the k800 produces compared to 6233. and if you learn how to tweak the equalizer to produce megabass? its like having a walkman phone

know what?? the only good thing in this phone is it's camera.. i once owned a 6233 and compared to their sounds 6233 loudness is compared to k800i's max volume twiced!! i mean the max wolume of the k800i is just the half volume of 6233.. to all those music lovers,, just go for 5300 or 6233 for Nokia brands,, and w850i or w660 for SE.. but the camera of this phone rocks.. take photos anytime,anywhere..

theoretically it can support up to 32gb of m2.,be sure that the one that you'll buy is a genuine one

This was won the phone of the year last year. It was fantastic and even overcame competition from the Nokia N73 to claim to right the throne. But, today i went into vodafone. They are selling this baby for £80 on clearance! and yet they are selling the nokia n73 for £250. i just understand as their specs are pretty much identical.

I had the same thing with a k750.
Fortunately for me, i had warranty and i received a new one.
Your phone had a circuit failure.
It's totally damaged.
I wish you more luck with some other se phone.
SE phone's are the best!

I wrote the long comment with the 4 problems i listed. Yes, i just recieved a call that the phone has been fixed. But it costed me money and the hassle of passing the phone onto someone else to take overseas for me.
Just can't be bothered with that bulls$&^ anymore aye....
But yeah, i must say i enjoyed every moment of the phone when it worked!!

DESPERATE. I had my K800i for about 18 months and suddenly I can't turn the phone on. The battery icon is not appearing when I tried to charge it. It is completely dead. The battery seems ok when I used it with another SE phone. I used another battery with K800i but nothing. I tried to clean connectors but nothing again. I noticed a red lamb flashing inside the infrared when I pushed the turn on button. Anybody can help me.
