I have been using K800i for 10 months now & it never let me down. The fact that is HSCSD compatible makes it worse cause the speed that I connect/download with, is fabulous.

There are many problems with this phone:
1. Joystick becomes a hassle after a while. It gets harder to push...maybe it's the dust that gets in the way between the little gaps...but it's a pain.
2. Don't bother with any software updates! They'r pointless and just messes up your phone.
3. i've experienced the "white flash of death" 3 times within 2 months of getting the phone. Had to get it fixed many times overseas which was a hassle
4. i turned the phone off one time and when i turned it back on again, the Sony Ericsson start-up screen just stayed there....wouldn't go to the normal menu screen so i've given up taking it to fix...just gonna get another phone now.
With that said, The phone has superb camera quality. The Video recording is a bit fuzzy but can't complain...I think that's the only good attribute about the phone.
Remember, you better load any photos onto your computer straight away if you don't want to loose any of them when your phone messes up like mine did...i lost some good concert photos...:-(

K 800i SAR = 0,58 W/kg;
K 810i SAR = 1,31 W/kg!
I choose K 800i. Period.

I have this phone for about 2 months. Perfect, never let me down. Stylish, modern, stable software, great display, good camera for pictures (for videos it is pretty average).. and of course lot of functions on it. If there was WLAN on it this phone will be best phone ever released. :D
Music player is great also. Turn the equillazer on maximum, and it will be loud enough (especially if you listening music on headset).

Has anyone had the problem I have - the joystick does not work properly anymore. I have had the phone for less than a year and I really like it. Except for the joystick part.

I´ll say it again! Í have no complains about the sound quality and loudness of SE K800 i and i can only say that this is the first cell i use (and I´v had lots of them) that i can use in loudspeaker mode with no complains at all! it sound just great! In case of MP3 sound the loud speaker is more than enogh (of course this is no Walkman series SE cell) but it very very very good!
