The best think is to flash your phone with xs++. You have to find the software for your phone. First look what cid you have on your phone, then found software for that cid and flash the phone.

the orange light can be used as a torch but you have to install first an application called Torch to use it

I really love this phone. I have had 2, the first one got lost and i replaced it with the w850. The w850 was a good phone (excellent music), however, the camera was a bit piss poor and its keypad started to crack badly. I also had a white one which looked crap. I wanted another phone, and as there was not any other phone in my price bracket (up to £200), I decided to buy another k800 (even though it was only £90) as there just isnt any other decent phone out there that isnt under £200. I really like it because its got an amazing camera, nice design, easy to use. I would highly recommend that anyone who has this phone to get a HPM-70 or HPM-82 walkman branded headset for listening to music with. The one that comes with the k800 plays music pretty average (not that loud). However, using my old w850 headset in the k800 makes the music (sound quality) EXACTLY THE SAME as the w850, which is brilliant. Ok there is no mega bass and the music software is nowhere near as good, however these are easy sacrifices. Get one quick before its discontinued (probably will be soon as the k810 is out).

                                G'day from downunder.
I have had the K800i for over 1year and I am not happy. Phone freezes, resets itself and then it powers up and date sets itself 1st Jan 2001...crazy, also not compatible with BMW bluetooth technology....keeps disconnecting and then connects when it wants. Not happy Jan!

Well... to bad. Looks like I have to face the fact k800i isn't made for video recording. If it only had CIF capability, I don't think there will be a better solution at the market. Have to wait for k850i's down pricing.
                                        Thanks.
