I'm planning on buying myself this phone. With my Nokia 3300 I had a dedicated record button to record something from the radio. I haven't seen a button like that on the SE, so can someone tell me if this is possible or where I can find out.

Really a great phone, i can tell u all. I read cetain comments over here sum saying that this phone is crap. All i can say is those people dnt knw hw to use a phone. those people better buy a 3310 o t100 o sumthng. This phone is great, really great. but u mus maintain it well,and do regular updates.

Hi, i just bought a K800i and i didn't regret it one bit. but, i do have some questions..
does this model support all music format? or it is only mp3?

it's your fault...they're right SD is too big for a microSD slot., micro SD is just 1/4 of the SD

well i have now owned this phone for longer than 3 months and i have found no problems needing to update my software every month, and like a previous reviewer, if i try to update my software it says that my phone already has the latest software. Sounds to me that you have a faulty handset, and like practically all products yet alone phones there will always be some that are faulty, so the person or anyone who says not to buy this phone just because their phone is faulty is really saying an unfair comment! My k800i has a very small fault (it will no longer open the games or applications folder), but i live with it because i never really played games anyway, but i would still recommend this phone as its brilliant! On a different subject, wenether you are updating your phone software using the SE update service, make sure you do FULLY CHARGE THE PHONE BATTERY FIRST as it tells you before you do the update, my mate ignored this and after he updated it, got this "white screen of death" that has been mentioned on this site before (phone will no longer start as there wasnt enough power in the battery to update the software therefore the new software wasnt installed and therefore will no longer start)!

So can the K800i handle a 2GB M2 card??? I know it can use the 1GB with ease, but I had a T-Mobile Samsung t629 with a MicroSD Slot, and I used a 1GB SD, but the phone refused to play any MP3 that was over 5.5MB in size. I called Samsung and they told me the SD card was too big, and I had to switch to a 512MB (B.S.!!!). I just hope that that isn't the case with a 2GB M2 card in the K800i.

i've only used the software update once because according to SE update service i have the latest software., it's been 3 months since i've updated it., no problem with the memory because i'm using 2gb of memory and i've asked the Sony ericsson service center and they told me that it can hold up to 4gb of memory., it is quite faster that my n73me., and does not hang and very stable unlike my n73., the xenon flash is also great., but the video is a disappointment., the sound also., i really love the sound of my n73me because about 1/2 of the n73 volume is like the full volume of k800i

SE rocks.. i hate the design at the first time, then i like it. I use it as a phone, camera, notes, calendar, sms, music player, video player, vid clips creator, radio, english dictionary--the oxford one-full version--save me the burden of opening thousands of pages.

This Mobile phone is a complete disapointment at first i was impress but after 3 months the program needs a constant upgrade that really gets on to my nerves sony ericsson needs to improve their programs inside their mobile phones the k800i units are also unreliable needs a big storage memory and it also needs a monthly software upgrade. I TELL TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO BUT THIS UNIT BETTER NOT SPEND UR MONEY ON A WORTHLESS UNIT!!!!!!

to swed ,,,i always use the headset wen video calling thats how its always been for me in a fairlynoisy enviroment,,great fone as its one of the easiest ive used with clear screen super battery compared to nokia ,,samsung,,responsive and so on,,but i suppose one slight negative is screen could be bit bigger but at least its 240 x 320 so its non grainy

you can choose bet standard or maximize., maximize will occupy the whole screen if you use the picture as wallpaper
