yo everyone...erm..i was about to hav this phone...but i heard alot of critics about this phone like white screen n bla bla bla..
erm...actually k800i is really tat bad mahh...now im using nokia 3250..is it worth it for me to change my phone...(reason for changing the phone is to get better camera...3G)

i got no memory card with mine so bought a 2 gig as it was the biggest were i buy my cards from altho 4gb is out.

i think it's imposible to record VGA resolution in video cause it will need a video accelerator to imrove its video.,

i need some help, i want to know is it a good phone? because my little brother want to have this phone. some of my friends told me that this phone it's not really good. they told me better if i buy k810. i'm confused.

RIX... my phone worked fine for 9 months.. then one day i switched in on and the white screen of death (WSOD) appeared. I read that if u take the battery out of the phone and leave it for a few days then try it reboots. Iv also read that u should switch it on and just leave the white screen on for ages until it 'sorts itself out'. Neither have worked for me. I emailed sony ericsson.. not alot of help. Send it to the service center they said. I was really happy with th phone and sony ericsson in general... i think im going to go with Nokia now! Good luck with ur phone RIX.. if anybody know what to do about the WSOD.. Please help!

go fer the silver james bond edition..cuz the construction in the phone is more solid...and it also has the latest firmware

to jeremy or peter as you were last known on your posting of new firmware update that allows qvga video recording,,,what are you up to coming on here and giving false in formation,,,these forums are a posting place mostly for questions people ask because they are about to purchase the phone "or" a posting place where people who have the fone tell of their experiance with it or answer peoples queries..
Although alot come on here and put bad comments about phones,, sometimes its for good reason for example if the software is a nightmare to handle and its true then it can give a bit of help to someone going to purchase the fone,,,but unjust comments raise peoples hopes and as i love video record/playback on mobile fones i would love this k800i to have a better recording quality( am using samsung d900 for that)but its not true is it but if it is then this fone contains every thing i need in a mobile fone

k800 has 3g capacities and does not have edge
k790 does not have 3g capacities but has edge..so u decide which 1 suits ur needs..

there is a mistake in the specifications.. the camera is 3.2 mp and not 3.15 :P

musiclover, i have compared the music playback between this and a walkman model and i can tell you that if you use the headset provided with the K800 when you buy the phone, music playback is not as good as walkman phones. However, if you purchase a HPM-70 headset separatley, and you plug a set of your own decent headphones into the stereo jack bit of the HPM-70 headset, music playback is exactly the same as using the same setup in the walkman phone (using your own headphones (you get better music playback on the walkman phone with your own headphones than you do with the ones provided aswell)). So in terms of loudness it can be exactly the same, but you need to note that the K800 DOESNT have MEAG BASS which all walkman phones do, although in my opinion there aint a lot of different between normal bass and MEGA BASS. Also, using your own headphones makes the whole lead from your ear to the phone very long and that can be annoying having too much lead. In other words, you can make music playback of the k800 as good as a walkman phone, but there are some sacrifices!

is it true that the sound quality of the k800i is the same with the walkman phones, i.e. w800? If anyone of you had a chance to compare the two, k800 against the walkman series, please tell me. I am choosing between k800i and w880i. Thanks a lot.
