Another brick by sony ericsson why cant they follow the leaders like Samsung and look at there designs. Slim is in now why have a brick in your pocket? The only good thing is the camera but Samsung have developed a 10 megapixel camera and Nokia a 5.Look at Samsungs phones the best displays, Styles etc Dont be weighed down.

I agree with the writer below, I've been a Nokia customer for many years. They peaked big time with the 6230/6230i and have since declined steadily down hill..
I think the majors need to pay attention to how they continue to develop new software and Nokia are a prime example of giving the customer unnecessary and essentially time wasting and ultimately pointless tasks when trying to either use the calendar or even send an sms! Example - calendar - the old 6230/i 8 moves - new software, new phones 12!This is not in anyway progressive - in terms of technology or making things easier!
Anyway, goodbye Nokia hello Sony Ericsson!!

sony ericsson k800 ;k790 it has excellent sound features with mp3 picture clarity i use to buy this mobile as soon as possible
sony ericsson is only ever best in sound effects in mobile mania there is no other mob

to culpritmooncake,No u can't use the front camera to take pictures.IT only allows you to see yourself momentarily.what i use it for is a substitute for a mirror.HEHS

This phone has got great features and a truly AMAZING camera, but I think the designers got it all wrong with its looks. First of all, I didn't get used with that camera bulge at all. Besides the size of it, the lens cover keeps opening all the f****** time in my pocket. Sometimes I feel like taking the lens cover off. Anyway would I use this phone 2 more months I'm sure the lens cover would go loose. Now the keypad is ill-designed, the designers will have to learn about ergonomics again because I can't say one single thing that's good in this keypad. The buttons are made of cheap material and you keep pressing internet or shortcuts by mistake. The joystick is fine, but then I've had the phone for 1 month only. It's also too big for the kind of usage I do.
I've decided to downgrade to a k610i, which I know has a crappy camera compared to k800i but who cares, if a wanna take proper pictures will then use a proper digital camera.

this phone is so awsome there is no phone that has its kinda picturing its camera is way too crazy it has a lot of things but theres one thing with i couldnt find a memory card and hey the front camera doesnt take pics ((its a hot phone ))

Hey, i know that this is offtopic, but i need some help :) I like the k800 but it really isn't the most beautiful phone, so maybe someone could advise me if this phone looks good then you hold it and if it is a real plesure to use.

Sony Ericsson receives all possible awards across Europe
The Spanish Television and Press Graphic Reporters Association (accronym banned) has awarded the K800 the distinction of the Best Cameraphone of 2006, as an outstanding product that helps the professional photographer optimize his job.
In the United Kingdom, Sony Ericsson has also been awarded by consumers with the Best Manufacturer Of The Year award, the Best Mobile Phone Of The Year award to the K800 —which also was voted the “Readers’ Dream Phone“—, and the Best Music Phone award to the W810.
Finally, the German edition of the Connect magazine granted, with readers’s votes, the awards of Best Cameraphone to the K800 (45,2% of the votes, and the apparently-not-so-old K750 being in third place), Best Music Phone to the W810 (with 59,9% of the votes), Best 3G Phone to the W900, and Best PDA Phone to the P990 (hmm…).
To summarize, Sony Ericsson nowadays seems to be losing the “best phone with wheels and facial hair” category only, or whatever. Unstoppable

k800i has better camera, w/ autofocus and flash, but k618i is not a bad fone, its cheaper than k800i, but its feaures is better than its price. it has no flash, and fm radio, but its sound is almost like a walkman fone.im using a k618i and i love it.
if you want a k618i, buy my brand new v630i (never used),
its a urope version of k618i.

nokia sucks! your n73 is a cheap looking fone
just like every nokia, even though how
i'd rather have w810, or a k610i than n73!
k800i camera is wayway better than any nokia.
there is a site that compares the camera quality of n73 and k800i, n73 has a problem in its red color,
even w810i beats n73 in picture quality.
