the photos of mobiles on this site are taken so that every mobile looks good. Want to see some real photos. Go on this site where u will find article of comparison of d900, k800, n93, n80 an n73.

    I didn't had any problem with my k800 for the past six months. this is the best phone in the market.

      Got an K800 for christmas, had a K750 before it. Much prefer k750!!! The K800 is a great fone, but its just really REALLY big! Its very difficult to get it in and out of your pocket, and the back is rubber so it catches on your clothes. The battery is also very disappointing, I used to get a whole week out of my K750, but I'm getting just 2 days out of the K800 battery. Apart from that its great, does everything the same as K750 really except the camera is so much better!! Picture quality is AMAZING! Also, it fixes all the little gripes that I had with my K750 such as not being able to change the song on the MP3 player without actually taking the fone out and going through the menu and not being able to turn off the camera sound etc. If size isnt important to you, then I'd defo recomment K800, otherwise go with either k750 or K610

        Hi, M using Nokia N73, but this fone has many software problems, so i decided to change N73 , Please can anyone suggest me if this fone also has some problems or its software is gud.

            Its a very fantastic mobile .
            I just buy this mobile 1 week a go .
            It has fantistac camera.
            Its not very costly as well .
            It has very good speed of net in i really love This mobile phone ..
            I realy love mp3 player of this mobile .

                Dear Masterboy, I am pleased that you have found a phone that satisfies. However I must tell you that in terms of balancing price, quality and flexibility, the Nokia N73 beats the SE K800i. Reasons: 1)call quality is better on N73. 2) screen is larger on N73 so browsing the web is easier. 3) N73 has EDGE. 4) it is GSM quadband which makes it a world phone. 5) it has smartphone features eg Quickoffice to read MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint files. 6) SE's memory format is expensive. 7) What is the need for SE's protruding slider when there is no optical zoom. 8) SE's outdated video capture-unacceptable for the price of the phone. In terms of photography the SE wins by a narrow margin because of its low-light capability ( xenon flash); although the K800i does not compete with compact digicams eg Sony T30 and Nikon Coolpix P1. However at its price (K800i) one is no longer talking of a mere phone. We are talking of a multimedia device; and in that category the N73 wins.

                  I guess the only difference between the sound quality between Walkman phone and SE K800 is the default earphones included. The sound coming from the earphones included in walkman phones sound better compared to the generic-looking earphones that come with K800.

                  No such thing as flawless phone i guess.

                  True that some people say K800 doesnt compare to today's 7MP digicams but those 7MP digicams couldnt make calls either right? ...we're missing the point.

                  The whole point is when we're talking about
                  the balance of price, Quality and flexibility among all phones (stress on the word "phone" digicams not included, then k800 is the top choice no doubt.

                  This is a great successor to the highly rated K750 as proven by solid numbers in terms of sales. best difference between k750 and k800? 3.2MP upgrade and Xenon Flash. Now i like camera phones but im not willing to spend 600-700$ id rather buy a moderate phone and another seperate new digicam in that case. which is what im planning why i bought the k800...thats just me i guess.

                    Dear Judge how can you state that the SE K800i has no flaws. You actually believe your own propaganda. There is not a phone out there that is perfect. This is why phone manufacturers are constantly trying to improve their products. The K800i has many flaws. For one there is no WLAN. Secondly there is no optical zoom. Thirdly the video capture is terrible. Fourthly the smartphone features are limited. Fifthly SE's GPRS is only 48kbps. I am amazed that you are amazed by such an unbalanced phone. Nokia's approach is better because they balance the features on their more expensive phones. The K800i gives creditable shots but they do not compare with the latest 7MP(and higher) compact digicams eg Nikon Coolpix P1, Sony T30, Casio Exilim Z1000.The K800i is a mobile phone with a relatively average camera. What's so amazing about that?

                      This is a good phone i just bought it recently and i must say i am happy with it i do video calling the camera is perfect it works like a digital camera,take your pictures at night they are perfect as if it was during the day.Those who dont have it are missing out on this masterpiece.This phone has all the features you could think of i have no regrets whatsoever about it.its wow i love it.

                          Again, masterboy, you are mistaking when saying that the sound quality is average. There is no difference between the sound quality of a "walkman" phone and a "cybershot" phone like this. There may be a difference of 1%, but that's it. The sound isnt worse, and you can listen to music AS WELL as you can when using a "walkman" phone.

                            After giving so much thought and reading so much reviews, good & bad, about this phone. I finally bought one and all i can say is wow!
                            If you're into taking pictures this phone is the best out there except if your willing to shell out twice the price for nokia's 5MP phone.
                            Im simply amazed with the quality of the pictures. Tried taking pics in pitch black rooms and it came out clear and with its build in Photo editor you can instantly correct brightness settings.

                            Good:
                            -3.2MP clarity of pics
                            - Autofocus and red eye reduction makes all the difference from all other phones
                            -realtime flash similar to digicams

                            cons:
                            -Weak speaker and vibration
                            -weak default earphones
                            Conclusion: If ur looking for an excellent Mp3 Phone with some minor picture taking ability buy the SE Walkman-850 and dont say this phone aint good.
                            and if you looking for the "Best" phone camera with average mp3 music quality then you wont regret this phone.
                            A must for Picture lovers!

                                I used to have a samsung e700 and I was absolutely happy with it. I find its design incredible till today (dont rely on GSMArena's pics, you must have it to be able to judge it). And I do find the design of 98% of the Samsung phones very very good.

                                But still the Sony Ericsson brand comes 1st. There has been NO SE phone with bad design, disappointing features or performance (and I stress the word "NO").

                                The Nokia phones, have...good features and performance, but I really find their design unacceptably ugly / unstylish.

                                This is why I put the SE phones first. They have no flaws at all.
                                And first of the SE phones, the King phones, comes the K800. Which amazes me every single day I have it.

                                AND NO, (message to someone else), the SOUND DOESNT HAVE TO BE WORSE THAT NOKIA PHONES JUST BECAUSE IT ISNT A WALKMAN PHONE. "Au contraire", IT IS BETTER.

                                Conclusion: My opinion is a right one. And the Nokia phones are...good but not as good as the Sony Ericsson. Not good at all.

                                      hi guys just advice pls check features of the phone that interests u before purchase cause within the SE. range u have diff features and the k800 looks to be more of a camera than an MP3 player therefore the quality of sonud is diff. regards

                                        SE's plannin to introduce some walkmans and cybershot units in a bunch and maybe the highly waited HANDYCAM(if possible) and the UIQ unit's rebound maybe.

                                        imho. SE should take attention on their unit's reliability and mass-orientedness. this is what nokia lacks so much in their smartphone units, as i expected no SE unit will matched the king N95, but cybershot and walkman series will match it's 5mp cam and music possibilities. and in sometime UIQ(Hope it's now reliable) will compete it's functions:-)
