i think the k800 is a great lttle phone with excellent features, camera is fantastic and with an expandable memory i have over 60 songs on its mp3 player with the option of a radio.

Does this phone allow you to block texts from certain numbers so that you never see them in the in box like the Samsung D900?

ive had the k800i for about a month i love it, had a few problems with the flash on the phone.. but all round its a great phone my friends all have the handset... love the look of the phone, never had a s/e before but will never change now

mXSQ : Mine did the same thing but once i upgraded to the latest firmware the problem went 'poof!', gone.

I'm wondering if it's really possible to copy from SIM to phone. I can save messages on SIM but I don't see a way to copy them from SIM to the phone afterwards. Capacity of SIM is limited so I need to do it in several steps. The plan is like this: 1) Copy 50 messages from the old phone to SIM; 2) Copy these 50 messages from SIM to the new phone; 3) Repeat steps 1) and 2) for the remaining messages. It might work but step 2) fails to materialise. So I thought maybe some experts here can help me with clarifying if it is feasible at all. Thanks!

One thing for sure...I think I made the right decision on getting this phone. I was in a limbo for the past weeks between the K800i and the N73. This one, clearly feels and handles like the price should! Unlike the N73...which feels more plastic and flimsy..for its price? U gotta make more of an effort Nokia guys! I was actually dissapointed with them, coz I am also a fellow Nokia user(9300i). So right now I am very happy with the K800i, which I couple it with my Nokia 9300i! The two get along together, no fights just yet! I think they gonna be happy together :P

Hi,
Anyone knows how to do it in most SE phones? I presume in Symbian versions it's different but in models like K700, K800, W800, etc. I don't see an option to copy all SMS messages from SIM to phone memory. The idea is to transfer all the messages from one phone to another. Any ideas?

hi. just received my 2nd k800i in space of 7 days. However this one (same as 1st one) has same problem. When key tones are set as 'on' they work but whenever i take a call and hang up they go on silent. In display they are still set as 'on'. When phone is switched off and on again, key tones work; until incoming call is answered! Any help please??

My ringing tones only lasted for like 10 seconds, when the mp3 is a min long.
------>>> i guess you mean message tone. yeah. that's a bit of a problem. message tones last for only ten seconds. it does not play the whole song. well, i think it's understandable. but ringing tones, like when somebody calls you would play whole songs as long as it allows until the person on the other line gets..."subscriber cannot be reached. please try again later." hehe:)
