pls help...what is the default password assigned for the se k800i. I want to setup the security to lock the sim. Thank you in advance.

I like the phone and update my phones with the regularity of halley comet passings.
I tend to stick with S-E & have upgraded from a T610 so everything on this phone is all up-2-date with new bells and whistles which did'nt take me long to delve into and get used to. Overall I recommend this phone for its features and camera and must have latest icon etc desirability.
I Cannot compare it to Samsungs or Nokia latest & greatest as I am so used to S-E interfaces and use of the joystick that I decided that this dog need not learn new tricks.
However here are the issues I have with it:
1.My Reception I live in an area that really is "the 14th century"
2. It reverts to phone locking status far to quickly.
3. The camera, why can I not simply press button and take photo ay... there is a delay, when undertaking this process, eventually sussed this "delay" out but still do not like it.
4. Cannot play *.swf files on the phone which means I have to convert them to avi files first.
5. The call management menu /options / list are not comprehnesive enough for my liking.
6. Cannot delete some of the unnecessary vodafone tat that comes bolted onto the phone.
7 That plastic camera lens cover hmmm.... those who have the dexterity of an oil rig best watch out.
Given them 7 bad points I would still give it 8.5 out of 10 or 4 stars out of 5

does anyone know if yu can download and then view/edit MS word, powerpoint, excel type documents?...if so how?

ive had this phone for two months and it is really amazing but the downsides are that the speakers are not loud and the vibrate sucks on this phone, you cant even feel it, which makes it really hard to know that someone is calling you while on busy streets or in loud places, another thing is that the video recording sucks, but everyone knows that already

I bought this mobile 15 days ago, its really fantastic, therefore i want to explain what i see:
* Picture quality is great (although that it is 3.2 MP but you can take picture with 1 MP and really nice picture)
* Auto focus doing its work greatly
* Sound It not that high but it is really clear and stereo
*Email feature is good (you can take picture and send to your friend through email, and you can set interval time to check it email and play a music if you have a new email)
*Flash is Excellent (in the middle night take your photo)
*Internet is fast and have a great web browser
*Fast performance
*Video quality is good (althought its resolution is not changed)
at last i see some comments that say different things to what i have

I have only had this phone for 2 months now, as I am an out and about person and tkae lots of pictures i think this phone is the phone for me. It is light weight and is quite small with lots of features, great phone.

Is it true that speaker of k800i is so bad? The previous reviewer says that even it could be consider as missing?
Do you thing is true? Very disapointing if it is...

Dear all,
I bought this K800i 10 days ago. it looks great. some features are fantastic where others are disappointing.
good features:
1- great flash xenon. try it in dark room!!!
2- autofocus which is great
3- resolution are great
4- internet use is fantastic
5- easy to deal with software
6- durablility looks great
in other words its a camera ratherthan any functions.
bad features:
1- the voice are too bad comparing to W series or others
2- camera hanging between time and time (may be my phone only)
3- battery life is not much reialable (if you use flash to much will finish within one day) but for music use ...little better.
4- you could conseder speaker as not available because its very baddddddd
5- memory sticks are very expensive and accessories too.
6- the earphones are not like W (w is fantastic)
7- quality of video is not that good or what we could expect.
finally i could say its just a camera mobile and you have to ignore other features. The problem is they manufacturing either a camera mobile or music mobile. I expect to see 3.2 megapixel on W series when will be availabe 5 megapixel on K series.
So its your choice to have a camera mobile (K) or walkman mobile (W)

No flash Light while recording videos BUT u can use its flash as a flash light i mean not in the real sencs but bcoz it has xenon flash there fore cant use it as flashlight but the red light can be used as flashlight if u wana know then tell let me know TC bye

well guys here it goes i first bought K700i then K750i and then W800i Now i Bought W810i and K800i lolx the animated desktop feature of "W"810i relly rocks its soo kool wid "emerge, equilizers and orbit" themes, but the handset is a bit plastic but looks r awsome, and abt K800i well looks r bit simple but nice display and touching it gives a smooth feelings in hands how ever its Muzik player is not that good just ok as compared to "W"series bcoz in "w" series the sound has been a bit amplified and really rocks. Camera is vvery nice but video is worse i mean quality is good but 177*220 hah this is really a shame for SE company i mean what the .... is this ??? grow up dude provide us wid more good features otherwise ull loose ur market yea. video sucks man
