I think this is one great phone. Had it first about a month ago and sent it back for N73 and sent that back to get K800 again.
I've been using Nokia phones for about 7 yrs and this is the first SE I've had. It's great and even the menu system is easy even after using Symbian for over 3 yrs.
BUT! The P9901 is due very soon in the UK and that looks one helluva phone even tho' it only has a 2Meg camera.

Talk about cheap, i bought this phone for $419.00 at www.myworldphone.com 100% brand new and unlocked, plemix have the K790i for $409 < US Dollars of course

Cheap materials, unreliable joystick, FW problems even in the most common situations... No thanks!!! Nokia or Samsung are sure bets

any body else having problems with the phone crashing???
The phone is great, and the camera is amazing, im just wondering wether it is a one off fault or happens on all the handsets.

Oh ya btw in Singapore, $518 2yrs plan includes 256mb m2 card cool rite? Singapore's promotion is hell ya GREAT! I simply love the timing and everything I so happy now..

Hey guys... this phone is just great... but i think i noticed a bug... (i think)
The key sounds (click or tone) when u put ur phone in silent mode or dont use it for about a couple of hours, when u try to use ur phone ( or turn on the key sounds) theres nothin... even when u try to deactivate it, and reactivate it again... the onlyw ay to turn it back on is to restart the phone... Hope it'll be corrected in the coming firmware updates...
Dont get me wrong... I ultmately like the phone... thats why im bringing this up so that some people can correct it...
Another thing... I didnt realize that it can also play WMA, which means, smaller music files... So the expansion card not being included in the phone is okay.. because u can put at least 40+ songs on the internal mem. hehe...

Thanx alot dude.. ya really had hard time to open the casing dah.. anyway overall this phone I would give 9/10 the 1/10 is due to the casing and the screen which can c ur fingerprints ezily.
Simply love my 1st SE phone.. after 2yrs of waitin for my perfect phone muahaha.. cant wait to use it after the last 1hr 20mins of charging!! ^.^

had this phone for 3 weeks now i loved the k750i so this updated phone didnt dissapoint either. 1 downfall is sony decided it would sell without a memory card which is m2 and have to buy them seperatly appart from that its a great phone

you can lock the keypad by pressing asterisks (*) key then the Menu key.
about the flash, there's no option to keep it on. I think because its a Xenon flash and not a regular LED light.
about the baterry cover, im having a hard time opening it too. Ive read one post here suggesting to push tor apply pressure near the part where the SE logo is, instead of applying pressure right below the camera lens cover. its still a bit hard to open the cover but it gives you more chance to open it. =)

You need to go to Contacts to edit a certain entry and set specific tone to specific caller so you can identify who's calling...
...if that's what you mean.

i have heard that it has a joystik problem,and it manifests quickly....is this true...i have this phone and i think it has the same joystik as the k750,and a special membrane to protect the joytik from dust,which causes this problem

hi could anyone confirm wether the have had any issues with this handset, the games have been crashing and i have to charge every night whereas i know people whos battery lasts a lot longer. thanks

the best mobile phone ever in price and functions,,, the best for imaging , the best for entertainment ..i would like to know how to connect music to carkit .... i woild like to say thanks to sony the best electronics company ..sonyericsson beats nokia ..with nokia u will get a mobile and fix it

pls can somebody help me out, i got worked as d phone uses the default ringtone(set in profiles) for everbody.So now i cant differenciate my calls from tone, need your input fast.... thanks a lot.Tried resetting them,turning phone off and on already. see ya

Btw.. this phone is sold at an UNUSUALLY cheap price seriously cheap.
A year ago during Singapore's National Day (SND) period w800i costs around $638 SGD.. and a year later k800i is like freaking $518.. luckily I didnt buy the w800i haha..
Anyway k800i is seriously cheap.. dont know y.. starhub sold it at $588 2yrs plan, m1 @ $568 2yrs plan and for singtel its even wired from $559 2yrs plan drop till $518 for SND period.. Anyway this phone simply rox just that the battery casing is just too difficult to push open and how do I lock the keypad.. Is there anyway to make the flash/torch to keep lighting all the way?

Finally bought my phone TODAY!! Woo Hoo!! Anyway K800I ROX!! The joystick is gd camera is definitely clear.. btw can i lock the keypad and also is there a function like k700i whereby u can on the torch or light?
1 bad thing about it is that the battery casing hard to open.. hell.. close it cant open in lol..
