To all SE Fans:
i love nokia before, but i'm SE lover now,.., i've tried many smart phones of nokia before,from symbian 6.0 to symbian 8.0 and i have encountered so many problems with smartphones
1.sluglish speeds when filled with applications(what's it's purpose calling it a smartphone it it can't have apps?)
thats the reason why i dont love any smartphone anymore: my 6 mos old k300 can play music, take a shot from camera and call at the same time than a s60 smartphone(it's faster and it doesnt freeze or slows)
now that Nokia n93 and n73 has launched, i dont expect better from it comparing to K800,. K800 can do basic jobs of a multimedia and communication device than a smartphone with very advanced operations and sluglish performance if it has many running applications and multitasking,..
yeah i am accepting the fact that n73 can have more better(maybe) or not camera than K800, but if you consider this:
1, battery life
2,processing of pictures by the processor(very questionable for S60)
3,music playing time
3,Videocalling time
4,Using Video Recording/camera frequently
N73/93 is far inferior to K800i and even to P990i,. it's because S60 consumes very much battery than UIQ, a standard mobile phone bec. it has powerful but not amazing processor which consumes much battery,..
that's the biggest failure of Nokia for me in comparison to SE,.. nokia has managed to make hybrid phones but not improving battery life factors...

i just got this phone 3 days ago. it is MINDBLOWING! y'all. the camera is superb( much better than nokia n80), the resolution is perfect, plus it has a video ringtone! so cool guys, you've got to have it

Do you know if that SE it will release a new phone with 3.2MP(design,size,etc)or 3.2MP with Walkman brand ?

It's a Sony Ericsson,it dosen't have that kind of problems.buy it !;)

Ok, great phone but Ive finished the games after a few weeks of having it. Does anyone know anywhere to get the games to download to the set ? Free sites especially ... but if I have to pay for a decent game then so be it.
Also are they Java games ?

Just got this phone, its out of this world, pictures are incredible and even the games it comes with are great too, i would reccomend it to anyone!

K800i should be out soon in South Afirca there are no indications of when as I have a contact in vodacom and he is trying to find out exact dates.

I own the W810 and it rocks so i decided to buy the k800 and it's just as great as i was hoping. much faster, quicker response, pic id shows up instantly. but i got one BIG PROBLEM my F#($ing Camra is defected. i bought it in singapore and the service center here in the states wont fix it. any ideas?

I have the k800i and I have my clock set to the LARGE option and it is not huge and CAN be easily read with the human eye. I don't know where you got that information from.

When will the SE K800i be available in South Africa, please? The SE K790i is available here, but I prefer the SE K800i because it has 3G, which the SE K790 does not have.
I see someone else has placed this same question on 24 July 2006, but I did not see any answer to the question.

K800 user, please verify this. There's an option to set the clock size on the display. When you set to "Large", the size becomes beyond human eye can read. And when you set to small, appearently it becomes the normal six. Please check, it may be some "bug" from SE

I finally got it!!! 6 months of waiting but finally! The phone is amazing. My only complait is that my favourites on the keys(up; down; left; right) go back to the default order every time i turn the phone off... does any1 know how 2 fix that??? Appart from that i love it!

Compare with W800, K800 plays music softer and you'll have those cracking sound when you turn on the volumn full blast. Very disappointing. Try your message alert 5, and you'll know what I mean.

To me the k800i is one of the best phones yet. It's all you need because first of all it's a mobile, a camera, and has internet connection so technically it can also be treated as a miniaturized laptop. And the best part is that it's easy to transport and easy to use and even easy to print and send images and files.
