Its 12-16 hours first charge,
I have just told 02 to stick my contract where the sun don't shine all week they have been lieing to me saying it is in stock and just waiting to go on the system, just range three and got an mazing deal and the phone will be with me wednesday happy days

OMG!!!!....It's just turned up at 3.10. Vodafone are true to their word, well done!!
Yes the keys are slightly rubberised but feel very strong and sturdy, it has a steal type finnish on the front and a velvety rubbery finnish to the back, very neat and stylish. love it!1

the phone looks great its on charge at mo so not played with it yet still not sure how long to charge phone for manual says 2 and half hours first charge but im sure other phone say 16 hours can anyone help me please ??????ps theres no memory card with vodaphone ones or lets say not with mine

just got mine deliveved from vodafone today how long should i charge it for????

I've just ordered mine from 02, over the phone as I was an existing customer. The girl I spoke to was trying to put me off, saying that the phone was quite big, and she tried to offer me the K750, and the W810 but I refused. I had to pay £49.99 for the phone, she wouldn't budge on that, even when I said I would just go elsewhere. Then she dropped my tariff from £30 to £15 a month, and threw in an extra 400 texts, so I went for it. She said to allow 3-5 working days for delivery, so I hope it arrives soon.
Now I've realised she never mentioned how long the contract was. Oops.

Allegedly SE have taken the dust complaints onboard and the K800i has improved dust protection.
But seeing as it's new you'll have to take their word fo it ;-)

Just called into my nearest Carphone Warehouse shop an asked to look at the K800i an as soon as i saw the joystick it really puts me off getting the K800i,its the same one as the K750i were dust can easily collect round it unless you buy a clear crystal case on it,Why have Sony Ericsson put the same sort of joystick on the K810i were theres no chance of dust collecting round the Joystick,this is going to put alot of people getting the K800i if you"vd had the K750i,Sony Ericsson get your mobile designers to get away from the joystick buttons an make it something more simple to use an no dust every time to be able to mount up round it Please!

To joni. Yup i have been given a tracking number and am at work waiting for it to arrive. fingers crossed really do want it before the weekend!. I'll let you know when it does arrive.

Mark Spanner.....Yes is the answer to that question!... you won't be able to track it until they have dispatched it, and they won't do that until they have them in stock. If they tell you they have dispatched it but can't give you a tracking number, then they are talking b******s again.

MD....Have they given you a tracking number?...If they have then it seems you're one of the lucky ones! It's 12.50 and i'm still waiting for mine, will let you know when it arrives.

Ordered mine form O2 yesterday afternoon and and got the 'out of stock' e-mail but they have stated I can track via the website via my sign-in.
As of yet my sign-in has no mobile number associated and no order linked - not even the option to track my order.
Before I waste another 30 minutes on the phone to O2 has anyone else suffered this?

I just recieved another email stating
that the phone has been dispatched. i'm assuming this means its with the courier as i can track my order. I would of gone to vodafone as well but o2 offered me a great tariff. i'll keep you informed

Message for MD.... Don't want to get you down or anything, but that's what they said to me 3 times already!...then every time, i've got the out of stock e-mail. When i phone them they don't have any clue!.. I still don't think they have them and are just blagging so all the people who pre-ordered don't cancel and go somewhere else. Which is what i've done!...gone to vodafone yesterday and it's with the courier today, delivery before 5pm today.

Three will be releasing this phone next week and will have deals that are alot better than 02 and Vodafone. Was told it would be free on the £30 (300mins, 1000txts) tariff and will receive 6 Months half price. however, went home and it is on their website already... might order my one now! Tasty!

Phone just arrived. It's mint. Yes keys are kind of rubbery but they dont look like it and feel very solid. Well done Vodaphone!
