hey everyone just so you know i ordered my K800i and was going to pay the 49.99 asking fee by O2. I then called back a couple of hours later and just said to them id seen it on another network for free is there anything they can do. Ive now got the phone for free. My message to you all is DO NOT PAY FOR THE PHONE as soon as you threaten to leave they take the money off. Although i have got to wait 3-5 days starting from today cos i had the money knocked off. small price to pay i think. let me know how you get on people.

Thank God!! Its not just me that O2 are snooty with then. I must of spent the rpice of the K800 on thephone with them trying to flog out some sort of deal. They are so up there own backsides some of them. Anyhow i got my tarrif of 500 mins & 500 txts for £20 a month (12 month contract) and the K800 for £49.99. Not a bad deal really, but please please O2 invest some of this money we are all giving you into purchasing a semi-reliable business system that doesnt crash 46,000 times a day!!!
PS: when i get the phone i will review it here, that was just a good old moan that was hugely necessary.

Oh yeah!.... the other networks aren't advirtising that they have them though are they?!....look at orange and vodafone's web sites and there is no mention. So i presume you're going through a third party for them and not direct?

well i pre ordered mine on the 20 june and they told me delivery of 26th then put it back to the 28th and now they can't tell me when. Full of S*** me thinks!

This review says that the keys are rubber like. This would really put me off. Aren't they the same as on the K750?

im having the same issue with another network so i dont think its just o2. i havent even been given a timescales but they were happy to take the money

o2 have offered it to me for £49.99 and £10 off online 200. Only problem is that they say they have not had ANY of the handsets in yet!!!
Seems weird that they say that when people on here have already got theirs!

Ordered mine on o2 yesterday evening as an upgrade after threatening to cancel my contract...was told 7-10 days!! Have had the confirmation email AND an out of stock email :-( Anyone any clues on when they are "really" going to send these phones out?

I just received my K800I.I'm really impressed with the phone so far.Brilliant camera and screen resolution is great.

Oh the wonderful world of o2...NOT! I think that o2, knowing that orange and vodafone are soon to release the k800i have tried to get in ahead of them and promise the phone from the 26 june. Surely this is wrong?...as i don't think they even have them in stock, just to get everyones custom in advance and then blag it untul they arrive. Shame on o2, the first and last time i do business with them. PS. Stil waiting!

k800 cybershot slide mechanism looks really dodgey especially how it sticks out i wonder how that is going to be, and isn't n93 meant to have VGA 30 fps video recording one of the best? i think x-cute phones have that also.

N93 beats k800 in what?N93 does not have bestpic and k800 is the first cybershot labelled camera phone which happens to be one of the best in photography.Who will the people trust?A 3.2 mp camera from a normal company or a 3.2 mp from a trusted,professioal company WHO MAKES DIGITAL CAMERAS!N93 will beat k800 in terms of being extremely bulky and plastic looking...

If this fone can't play video on full screen this is a shamefull mistake by SE Even w800, w550 and nokia's olderr age phones like ngage, 66000 phones can play videos on full screen .
Does anyone know what is the video resolution in w800 and p990 pls tell me

Called o2 yesterday wanted £49.99 for upgrade, phoned back today got the phone for free and £15 off my line rental, but still dont think the phone we come lol
