this fone has a white screen of death problem

my brother's k800i's screen is now all white and wouldn't start. we tried removing the battery and palced it back but still the same.. what's the problem wiht it? can it still be fixed? this also happened to his previous fone also of k series (k5 something)

arun, 19 Jan 2009no pause and fast forward and rewind function for video pla... morethere is pause, fast forward & rewind function of video in k800i there is even zoom function,, if you play youre video in video player you can pause fast forward & rewind video, by using youre joystick while playing the video,,

to avoid freezing... always keep your phone memory enough free space & put all downloads, camera albums, music, pictures, games, themes etc. save in memory stick & use a larger capacity say 2gig...

I had no prob... moreOk for all those people who has a faulty joystick read this. if you want to fix your joystick there is no need to take it in for repairs (in most cases). Watch this video and you will have your joystick going as good as new.

yes i know it is for a w800 but it works for any sony ericsson with a joystick. Furthermore, you can use sewing machine oil, wd40, etc instead of car oil and if you dont have a syringe with you, you can put the oil in a cup and then get like a toothpick or a match and dab it around the side of the joystick. However, a syringe will make it easier and they are only like 20c at the chemist.

I really like this set. I am using it for the past 1 year and is working fine. The joystick can be repaired by the expert technician as i also repair it once.

i only had this model for a span of 5 months and during this very short period of time i've had so many problems with it...it consumes nuch of my money just for repairs...
