K790i is not 3G phone.

Hi all,
I want to buy Sony Ericsoon and the choice I have kept is among k790i and K810i. K810i is near about 2300/- (INR) expensive than K790i. Can anyone suggest which phone I should go for? If k790i is nearly similar to K810i then is it worth spending so much of money? Please help!! :(

Hi.. I bought this phone yesterday....
The best part of the phone is the 3.2MP Camera and the auto fix feature (though it takes 15 secs to fix the pic but the feature is really nice)....
Above all it comes with 2Gb card :) so keep clicking....
If you are a camera lover then this is the right phone for you....
The worst part of the phone is its speaker.. (Its really low as compared to any other Sony phone).. In fact at full volume you can calculate a low speaker noise....
If you are a music lover then Sir do try any other phone..
Over all the phone is nice.... and almost similar to K790i..

Taklov, i recommand you to buy from actual mobile shop in your city or try Sony Ericsson Online Store. Please do activate Area and Cell info in Messaging>Settings. While travelling plz on the RDS in radio. Also if u dont want to use 3G then goto Networks and select GSM only because in non 3G area your cell continuousy search for 3G so power get wasted. Dont forget to post your 3.2MP pictures in Flickr.com . We all would like to see by the link ull put here. Let the US Networks know that Cyber-shot has landed. Dear joel, front cam is used for 3G calling. While in 3G online mode u can save the picture of the second person. In offline mode when there is no 3G calling, you can see your live image in Mirror or actual form. Click More and 6 and 1. This type of functionality is not available in 99% phones. Its unique.

Has k810 the smaller, same or bigger
screen size than N73...???
The answer is:
SE K-810 has a small screen with a tiny margin but has a much splendid colors & gorgious picture quality than N-73.
So dont just go to the size, size doesn't matter much but it is the quality which matters.
So let N73 be ignored & proceed to K-810 without any hesitation.! You'll be proud of owning it.

And thank you for responding to my question (is the K810 or K810i the world phone. and do I need more than 3 frequencies to use phone in US and Asia.)
I browse the internet and see several sites that sell k810i but I am a bit concern about the reliability and quality of the site(s). (I often buy phone/service at the local stores or booths. This is the first time I am trying to buy phone from the internet.) Therefore, could you please list any good, quality sites to purchase this phone from. I appreciate it much.

I read the comments here and this phone is very good. I'd like to purchase this for use in US and for traveling to asia so I'd like to ask if this is a world phone and will work with att. Please help.
I also notice there is a k810i on sony site. Is this the same thing? And do I trully need quad band or just 900/1800/1900 is enough for both US and asia.

Hi all,
I have jsut bought this mobile and its mind blowing.... However when i tranferred a video song it showed in the video player but there was no option of Play. I checked the video format and was MPEG..
Can anyone help me out.

I love K810i. I love Sony Ericsson. Everything is in right proportion and well placed. Not too small or too big. I love SONY M2 Memory Stick card slot.

K810i is better because there are some miner changes and bug fixes included plus it has camera specific keys that illuminates at cam mode.
