pero, 03 Dec 2008OK guys, I would need a honest opinion. I have a chance to ... moreK850i is better overall then C902

K850i has the Xenon Flash, 3LED For video'ing - C902 only LED

2.2 inch display - C902 has 2.0 inch

dual memory card slot - C902 just has M2

Touch sensitive buttons - C902 has 8 of them

K850i has more to offer also nicer design - so K850i is the one you should get, but its up to you

OK guys, I would need a honest opinion. I have a chance to buy K850 or C902i for really good price. K850 is really cheap (let us not get into numbers thou ;) and C902 is 80€ more. Which phone would you recommend - K850 or C902i? I need some opinions from first hand users.
      Thx for the answers.

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2008oh and to the k850 versus n95 comment by dani, err...... morecarloud sir ...why havent you put your name on? i know its you, i can tell by the way you write..

anyway carloud, N95 wasnt the best 5MP camera - it lacks in Daylight Macro and Colour reproduction

This is were K850i fights back.

K850i has GOOD Daylight Macro shots and normal shots with Natural colour rendoring, and the K850i camera takes Natural shots as compared to N95

K850i also has the 3LED for video recording - another Advantage
        K850i Xenon Flash - Advantage

So overalll K850i wins in Camera.

          I agree with you 100%.

I have k850i and N78. Both are great phones.
They both do what they are designed to do without fail and they always sit down on my desk side by side without any quarrel.

When i first unboxed the k850 i though it looked ugly in front and beautiful at the back. Now i just love it front and back. Digicam on the back and a unique keypad in front. Nice and balanced combination.

That way, you will see a clear and beautiful image(you can also use sports option). If you wanna take the best, then use the BestPicTM. All phone faces the same problem with moving image, therefore don't be disappointed with the performance of your K850i. You will actually come to love it. Trust me, I also face the same dilemma once.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970The fall from the 2 storey high building is a bit exaggerating. If you say the motherboard, the memory card and the sim card are unharmed, then that is acceptable. The rest of the phone including the carl zeiss lens must be smashed to smithereens. My friend's K850i also fell from a shopping complex but hers was from the 3rd story, everything was smashed to pieces but luckily the motherboard, memory chip and then other important documents were unharmed. She had to purchase a full casing and that costed her about 1k but she said it was worth it. Thus, I think your friend's N82 case should be the same. There is a saying in the chinese proverb, "everything has its own advantages and disadvantages". Thus, it would be very childish of us to be bias and judge from 1 point of view only. Entertainment wise, Sony is the clear victor but function wise(in terms of gps and wifi), Nokia stands out more. Therefore, I think both phones are top notch and whichever phone we purchase, we should be happy and not be too demanding. Won't you agree?

the fact that u replied directly to counter the earlier comment about n82 might be dead once dropped proves that you are just making up stories.

You're trying hard to make people believe while others are just giving out their opinion based on their own experience and observation without putting a gun on anyone's head.

So get a life. Dont bluff. Or maybe u r working for Nokia arent u?

well contrary to what the general posted,

n82 could actually withstand a fall of 2 stories,

a friend accidentally slipped his n82 from the second floor of the mall up to the basement

as we were approaching the phone and with my friend already crying, we saw the phone almost in bits, the battery, the backcover, the external screen and the camera cover got separated from each other,

and we tried assembling it, only to find out that faceplate which protects the screen already cracked

but miraculously,, the internal parts werent damaged, and still functions normally...we took it to the repair center and all they did was to replace the housing

and its still up to now, working in good condition...

When i took a moving picture, the result is so BAD, it can't catch the image still. As nokia n82 camera is far better than mine. I quite disappointed.
How to imporve it??? Pls help or else, i will change phone again.

                          To Anonymous and Ghost,
First of all, to mr. anonymous. I don't think you even own a k850i as for us who have it, we all know that the latest firmware namely RIFA035 is able to annihilate all the bugs which is present in this phone. Besides that, it also promotes the camera ability and thus enable it to take even sharper pictures. The xenon flash has also been improve by this new firmware and the pictures taken in the dark is as though it was taken during daytime. So, please don't spill any nonsense regarding this new firmware as it will clearly reflect your immaturity as a human or are you even one.
For mr.ghost, I don't know what is your problem with this phone. Ok, maybe it doesn't have a GPS or wi-fi but these minute details can be overlooked as SE have released a GPS enabler which will enable your phone to go GPS and also a Wi-Fi enabler(rumor to be released next year) to enable you to go on wireless mode. Furthermore, consider this, if you own a high-end but fragile phone like the n82(which is packed with wi-fi, gps and so on), one fall from only a height of 60cm or exposure to water will already sent it to it's deathbed. Is it good to own a phone like this or would you rather go for a phone which lacks the capability to go GPS or wi-fi but instead able to withstand a fall from 1 meter(real case, my phone dropped from this height) and still able to function with high efficiency. So, I believe that you are a rational being who have a bit of logic to consider something so simple and when you come to a logical conclusion, please post it up. Thank you^^

But we in this forum would rather have a phone strong enough to withstand the elements and falls than have wifi and GPS phones that are costly and fragile. You can now go back to the underworld and rest ghost....

Been using this phone since it was released, only had a slight problem at the beginning with the on/off button jamming. Apart from that software has never crashed. Card is filled with Music and the phone internal memory is pictures. Quality excellent. Can well recommend this phone. Ericsson have come a long way since the merge with Sony. Was with Ericsson moved to Nokia have been with Sony Ericsson moved from W800 to K800 to K850 considering the C905 or the X1. Memory, Quality of Music and picture quality most important to me as well as software for laptop, any problems with software for operating from VISTA

It clearly says K850i takes the most Natural shots in close ups in Dark and in daylight and DayLight pictures are the most Natural with K850i to..

                                        Think about it

K850i has the most natural shots with the camera - topped with a 3LED for video and Xenon Flash..
