Can this phone stand up to abuse like the W810? I take ALOT of pic's of my kids, and listen to music. My W810 was dropped a few time, and went through alot of use, still works like a charm ater 2 years. Is the K850 as durable as the W810? or close?

to all of you who are claiming that the camera produces washout pictures:
when you capture photos with flash, especially taking close-ups, you would clearly see that it produces washout pics. BUT that's not the real image. go to file manager or media menu and view your pics in LANDSCAPE. you will notice the "loading/processing" of the pic. By there, you would prolly notice that it's NOT washed out afterall!
or better yet, transfer it to your PC. as simple as that!

SE offer Value for Money here and Very Features for the Price and Quality is Guaranteed since its SE and SE has qenourous Retail packages to..
so overall the SE is the better Purchase
and Nokia's UI i dont like..

Deeps, 06 Aug 2008I forgot 2 charge my battery fully before my 1st time usage... morei get the battery down in two days, but i constantly text, call, make videos, take pictures and listen to music. I would say it would last 3 - 4 days of light usage.

I have had it for about 7 months and its still the same. You still get the same battery performance

I started to charge my battery from 30% & My battery gets charging for a long time(more than 2 hrs) but stil my mobile status displays 99% charging & also till the charging going on. How about yr mobiles & its standby time with very minimal usage, normal usage, high usage & the standby time with no usage. For how many days the battery charge comes.....
I boughtt K850i mobile be reading the opinions posted in this site, but now by such types of probs in my mobile pulls me back tat i hav took wrong decision!!!!!!

I charge my battery for the 1st time more than 6 hrs but from tat time, there is a frequent reduction of battery charge in very very minimal usage.......

I wonder if the seller is ripping you off. I Buy mine unlocked branded to no one. I know if the phone is branded, usually the company has something to do with taking away goodies and charging the cutomer extra for the extras. In the USA, we are behind in technology. So the phone companies do not carry the better phones. The highest megapixel phones our companies carry are 3. And when we buy a branded phone they usually come with the basics. Is the N82 you are talking about with no extras, branded to a company?

I purchased 2 of them, one for me and one for my brother. Both very excited for the 5MP camera. The software was glitchy, and it froze a lot. But after a few firmware upgrades, it appeared to be fixed.
Within 3 months, my brothers phone lost control of the camera button, and about 2 months later, I lost use of all of the keys, rendering the phone unusable.
Because I purchased the phone prior to its canadian launch, Sony Canada will not warranty the phone.
The 800/810 series were built much better then the 850. and I would strongly vote against it.
