I really dont understand why so many post on display density and pixel clarity???????? I am using this phone and it just looks nice..no issue with screen resolution or density of display...it may affect those who are techie and need perfection to the T. for rest...just grab it.

I just check the pixel density of my current phone and its 182 PPI, well i'm satisfied with the color, sharpness and brightness of my phone, its a little bit dimmer compared to other s40 phones but this one is excellent. Anyway, the SE live has 180 PPI too, so I think it would be acceptable to me. The problem on my area is that, they dont have a live demo, or you should buy the phone first, before they allow you to check the specs of the phone, so no choice. So if someone has a screenshot of the SE live, kindly post it here. And is there any other way of improving the pixel density? Like for example updating the phone's version or firmware or downloading any android apps? Aside from rooting the phone. Thanks.

again i will make it clear am not talking about the Colors or the Screen Density or the Screen Resolution,
the issues i notice is
1- The bad contrast controler (when i set the wallpaper or the theme to black the contrast will automaticly change and the white become very shiny and it will take over the other colors i will not be able to see the word "google" inside the google search widget ).
2- and bad response time ( the highly saturated colors like Red leaves a noticable shadow behind when u flick the pages quickly), my adobe reader icon leaves a trail behind whin i flick the pages
and i still have my old xperia x8 and none of this is there
i was thinking that my devices is defected but i check 3 more in different malls and all the same, i will try to capture that on video , i hope that someone who really have the device try what i said and tell us what he will find coz i hope that i can find a fix for that it would be great

If you compare it with nokia X-7.....this one rocks.. X7 has 8 megapixel, 182 pxl density and bigger screen but as u see the overall functions.....Live wins....

go for LWW coz htc wildfire has slugish performance and poor camera quality

for better performance,audio quality,battery packup go for LWW...for good display, camera clarity go for wild fire.. the only disadvantage for LWW is display contrast..

hi LwW users pls give the conclusion, we dont wanna compare with sony mobiles or B.E ,
jus say this alone HTC wildfire s having same spec.

What's wrong with 180 pixel density?? I know its lower than my nokia 5220 which has 200 pixel density. So what?
Would you rather see a blank screen?
Would you rather get a 192 pixel density and the screen overheats?
Be grateful with what you have especially if you own this Live. Do not compare with Arc, Neo or Ray. They have much difference even with the price.

mahesh, 12 Dec 2011does rooting voids the warranty??technically yes, but you can still unroot your phone (since we haven't unlocked its bootloader) if you'd like to send them for repair or any upgrade to any SE on your location.
So just a tip, root it for your own use and then unroot it whenever you want to have your phone serviced using your warranty.
Just make sure to use the same tool when unrooting your device.

To those who are confused with the display of this phone, here's my point of view:
LWW TFT LCD isn't that really as clear as with ST15i, since it has 180 PPI, than 190+ PPI with ST15i. Also screen contrast is not really as sharp as with ST15i but still it has sharp and bright colors. This means that colors isn't distorted (meaning not WASHED out), its display is FAR more better than GALAXY ACE & Y.
