I am using my P1i for over a year now. i use it for bussiness, so basically all the features, including pics, music, internet, MS office,email and GPS; it is really impressive. If you want a camera phone, get an Cybershot; if you want a music phone, get an Walkman; if you want a business phone get the P1. All that is lacking is .zip format reader, xenon flash (as per the cybershot) HSDPA internet.

I just got my P1i as a present few days ago.. I'd have to say dat i lurve it!!
Camera is good, sound is good, basically most of da things are good..the only thing is dat da vibrate is not strong enough for me (Anyone knows whether i can adjust da strength?)
But i still need time to figure out how da keypad works.. Can anybody tell me how to type for example a "?" without touching da screen?

my colleagues are envious w/ my P1 when in fact they do have a more expensive phone such as N95.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970p1i costs INR16,500 with 1GB sandisk M2 card.
It's a nice phone with many features such as pdf+,doc reader cum editor. music player is really awesome with decent sound quality. wonderful camera. many themes,games and applications are available for download.
best applications for p1i are-
1. IM+
2. operamini 4.1
3. system seven pushmail
4. Handy safe
5. worldmate
6. documents to go 4.01 supports 2007-08 office documents
p1i is awesome gadget for business class people cos it supports Blackberry(inbuilt).
Have a nice time with p1i.

dont try to listen to vivek its obvious hes a samsung die hard fan..he doesnt even own a p1..i dont think its camera is bad that dont make me laugh comparing g600 to this one..its not even half good than this 1

The phone is not good at all.I wouldnt advide anybody to go in for this phone.Instead go in for the Samsung G600.

Sir, I tried to download zip,sis file but displaying no viewer is there to install it.I didn't understand either it is phone faulty or required to update please suggest me what should i have to update.as this p1i modele comes with symbian os v9.1 uiq 3.0 it must read the .sis file ,zip file I think.

dude it may be a short circuit..then its an internal damage..maybe the power supply got burned up..? it wont be like that if it havent gone short circuit..you shud have checked the usb port 1st if its grounded or what..

ive had my p1i since march 2008. got no problems with it until i connected it to a busted usb port in a pc. now i have serious problems because the phone is dead... huhuhu..its really devastating for me because i really liked the phone so much. anyway, 2 technicians have already told me that the phone cant be detected by their software, short circuit or something with the phone's internal. is it true that my phone cant be restored anymore? sony ericsson help me please...

hi, this is a cuestion for all you have de P1, it is true that in messenge text you only have 70 characters each messenge? and when you exede that number it counts as a second messenge?
