Current time zone and Home time zone Keep Same
Zone of Interest set what else u want after some time Restart ur Phone and check hope so it will b fine
Firmware about
On main screen here the option More
Click on More then Status
here will b the detail of ur Phone Version
As Mine One is
Phone
CXC 162037 R9K009
Also check the CDA Version as mine one is R5A and that’s from Singapore Latin
See the list of ur CDA version and location and check if the new firmware is avail for ur Country
But i was happy before Updating My Phone i m not happy with the New Firmware
Tell Me Before Updating ur Phone May b i will help u for Better thing

I do it what you said but I can't set the current time zone & home time zone & zone of interest at the same time because for example when I change the zone of interest the others change...
where can I find what is my firmware?
I have another 2 questions:
1)in music player how can I repeat a song?
2)I want install a program but I can't, it says THIS PACKAGE USES A PROTECTED UID, what does it mean?
I'm so sorry I have a lot of question

Set the time
Go in Control panel then in Device then in Location
Here set the Current time zone
set where from u belongs to
then
Home time zone
Set also this where from u belongs to
then
Set Zone of Interest
Else u want select

I have a problem with time. I don't know why it's different between time in mobile and sms.
one of my friends said there is a central time that I can't change it. plz help me because when I read sms I confuse when it sent.

Note to any US T-Mobile users:
According to various T-Mobile USA phone and tech support reps, 3G service is NOT available since T-Mobile USA's 3G network runs on UMTS 1700/1900 NOT UMTS 2100 which this phone and other SE phones operate on to get 3G! There are no current plans to extend the frequency range since the 3G network has started to roll out across the US using only the 1700/1900 frequencies.
Just have to stick with GSM with T-Mobile USA or get a phone that will use UMTS 1700/1900!

P1 is definately made n China since P990i the finish speaks. Its same firmware as p990 & W960 uiqs. Its not a rough handling cell nor quick touch response,resale is terrible and now no big themes or software avail. Only it was a replacement for p990i and no further p2s announced. SE must continue its successors otherwise its a midrange cell.

g_natarajan, 24 Sep 2008Hi everybody, i'm new user of P1i and how to activate th... moredude that camera cannot be activated until ur making a call. video calling facility is provided by ur service provider. if u just want to activate the camera then go to main menu>phone>video phone. the camera will be activated. but u cant record the picture.

i have walkman 3.0 on my player how come its lousy with a sound mod on it..and its pretty loud on speaker and especially on headset..an advice people..if you dont know how to care for your phone then it will end up like that..! shows how careless you are..
YOu should learn how to MOD your P1i
as far as battery life is concerned its good..after a software update..2-3 days without charging is good..compare that on other phones..well for factor of kors its not that fat..compared to p990,n95,96,82 and so on..

Anonymous, 24 Sep 2008You shouldn't text when driving - thats extremely dangerous!Agreed... But once you have memorize the position of the keypads and its contain alphabets and numeric.... U can text without looking at the phone wild driving and once reach at a traffic light just quickly run thru the sms for any typo error then send the message... Being doing that for the past 6 years (Using the old standard keypad format).. But using the new keypad style and format from P1i its realy taking me a long time to memorize the key position and its content......plus time consumming and dangerous if typing sms with P1i keypad wild driving...

i use fones very roughly... nd quite at tymes they fall down aswell..
i message alot.. as in around 300 msgs a day!
is dis a gud fone for me??
