K800i takes good pictures, but thats the only thing it can do and that's the only thing it is good for! P1i is a smartphone, it can do what K800i does and much much more!

I think the P1 is the worst phone ive ever had, its slow, it freezes constantly. For a smart phone i think its pretty stupid. My k800i did more things than this and dont get me wrong i love Sony Ericsson. I regret trading in my k800i

How can P1i supports microSD card if it is not fitted to its M2 slot. They are different in terms of shape and thickness

this phone is great at last it satisfied my mobile need the touch screen as well as qwerty key board
can anyone tell me how to use the mobile in landscape screen mode like when you make the camera on the screen goes in landscape mode normally it works in portrait mode

Priya, 01 Aug 2008Sony told only max 4 GB then how it support 8 GB ?Priya, i agree with you that sony ericsson has officially mentioned P1i can support upto 4gb because 8gb was not available when P1i was launched.8gb was launched somewhere in November 2007. That may be the reason why SE mentioned 4gb. But now people have tried 8gb and is working well on p1i.

i love my p1i its the best..better than my n95,my phone dies 2days of usage while my 95 dies out half a day or more than half..

liar,its not a battery hog how come i got my phone empty its full charge at 2days..duhh..nyc job but too bad its not that good

The P1i is a battery hog!
Also, it's noted in various SE spec sheets and forums that the phone does not support Flash player/files!

The P1i "officially" supports MicroSD cards up to 4GB but "unofficially" it can support the newer 8GB MicroSD card, which is currently the largest capacity currently available.
Don't like giving out references... but... try Sandisk as they were the 1st company to produce the 8GB MicroSD card. The cost of the cards has since dropped from $150 USD when it first came out to less than $75 USD!
I have 2 8GB MicroSD cards when it first came out. First used with my P1i then with my newer W890i, which also "officially" uses up to 4GB cards but will also "unofficially" support the newer 8GB MicroSD card!
The 8GB cards both work fine but rather slow in file transfers!
