well, try to type (.utz) to its file name..... example..... if the name of the theme is "Zebra" just retype "zebra.utz" then its format will change... remember to do it to a newly downloaded file,,, or even those who are old,,,, for as long as you did not change its format ....ok.... hope it helps//////(philippines)

Hey guys, to help you do the work easier:...
P1i Shortcuts, Tips, and Tricks
Main screen
1. Key Lock~ Hold the Left side of the "*" button
2. Silent Mode~ Hold the Right side of the "#" button
3. Just hold down the back key to unlock and lock the handset.
4. Hold the return button to return to homescreen.
5. When in home screen, hold return key to lock the keypad .
6. change the left internet key to the "home screen" will make navigating fast
7. Back button means the one below the jog dial not the "delete" button.
8. Use jog-dial to accept a call and back button to reject a call (also when
keypad is locked).
9. Lock the phone then pull the jog dial down twice (or press any button twice)
the light will dim right down.
10. How can one change from "Recent" to "Current" tab without stylus or finger (ie
keyboard or button press ?
11. Use the * and # keys - they double as left and right cursor keys in this context
12. When u have selected items, you can use the keyboards backspace key to
delete them.
13. Once clicked, the touchscreen offers the 'confirm delete' option. (Yes or No) , you
can also use the Y & N keys on your keyboard.

Faysall, 25 Jul 2008hmmm yeah i think its because of the upgraded firmware..i got mine last week. it is realy nice in performance & looks good with nice features. but you need 2 take time reading its manual & practically using it. otherwise it is not easy 2 master every thing. were can i download nice songs? performance

this phone is really good it dpends on the user how to use it..do the math dude! its casing has a mix of metal and plastc which is better than pure plastic housings

I thought this phone was suppose to be good, the battery drains really quickly and it crashes frequently.

i was about to buy P1i yesterday but it was out of stock. but i got a chance to hold the sample unit they display in the window.
after touching the unit, i noticed that the housing is not metallic. the saleslady told me that it was hard plastic.
"IS THE HOUSING GOOD ENOUGH NOT TO FEEL"? hope anyone can help with my question..

oee-ph, 23 Jul 2008can P1 support micro sd cards?The P1i supports the MicroSD cards as stated on SE's website!
It will "officially" up to 4GB but actually will accept up to 8GB.

So you're saying that it "can" be changed even though the user's guide state otherwise.
Could be due to the upgraded firmware!!

So ... moreThanks for the reply mr.raj. ok I got winrar, well after I downloaded you ask me to extract the file to my desktop, copy the extracted file to my memory card and install it. Well I tried to extract it and and install it still in my phone shows that file not recognize. I still can’t find the utz file. Can you please guide me on this really need this to be applied in my phone. thanks

Hello,
I insert my old memory stick with my P1 put could not remove my contacts backed up in it to thre phone memory.
Also, the music player does not appeare at all and could not play the songs saved in the memory stick.
firmware ends with 004.
Please help
