the phone is great but The Battery sucks , it doesnt last for 6 hours , i had it for 3 days and i couldn't agree more i got rid of it , Dont Buy

Yes, I bought my P1i May 16, 2008 and it's brand new @P13,700 or US$326 with 1 gigabytes memory card. The manufacturing date of my unit is "08w16" as indicated at the back of the unit, 2008 April (last week of April). "08" stands for year "2008", "w16" stands for "week 16" (manufactured last week of April 2008). That's how to check your SE unit's manufacturing date.

Man, the have announced an upcoming release, the P5, but the processor is still the same! Will they not learn? On my E6, I can listen to music and play java games at the same time, which I can't do on my P1i! That's because the processor on my E6 is about 311mhz while on P1i is only 208mhz! And E6 is older than P1i! Forget about GPS, and the 5MP camera if they will open slow and sometimes hang because the processor can't handle it! Wake up, Sony!

Does anyone if most of the bugs with this phone have been fixed? Like the green tint when taking pictures and the random hangs. I wanna buy this phone again but only if those issues have been fixed.

Can any body tell me about sound recording during call, in P1.
In my expriance sound recording in normal cource in being recoded in this phone, but during call (for call recording) it do'nt work. can any body tell me about this problam

Hi, this is alvin again.. i try to swift off & on my P1i it connect to the wifi. But when i start browsing, it shows a message "could not locate remote server"... can any1 help please....?
