Ianisk, P1i here in the Philippines cost P13,700 or $326 with 1 gigabyte memory stick. I just bought one 4 days ago in Greenhills, San Juan Metro Manila.

hi all. Quick question please - I am wanting to purchase this phone, for msyn reasons inch that I can install skype, but would just like to know something about the phone that is troubling me. Is it true that the ringing volume of the phone is soft? I read this in a magazine and now i'm worried that should I purchase the phone, I wont hear it when it is in my bag etc. please can someone assist me with this query. Thank you. I'm in south Africa, if that makes a difference.

Getting this handset in the week. Was thinking of getting the W890i but looking at something with more business functionality. I'm a big music lover though. How does the media player on this handset compare to the Walkman players on the SE Walkman handsets? Do they also come with the same headphones (the etymotic in ear type that came with my W810i)? And what is the sound quality like compared to dedicated Walkman handsets?

battery wont last for 2 days? thats ridiculous! i use mine for heavy textin and internet WIFI browsing still it last for 2 days compare to N95 battery wont last for 24 hours! be happy you got a P1i!

Hey all...
Got this phone 2 days ago,its a nice phone, thought of having E90 instead..
anyway i got this problem, why does it vibrates 3 times before ringing???
oh if i take out the vibration,its the same, it doesnt directly rings!??
Any help about it..

i thnk u hav a chinese p1i. M usin it since 2m0nths and aftr extremly heavy use(300msgs a day, 5hrs phne calls, music for 1hr n internet) its battery lasts for 2 days! Get ure battery replacd wid a genuine 1.

Sony Ericson p1i is a very good mobile as far as i noticed its just like experiencing another world of entertainment, its options are superb its touch screen is very easy to use every thing is fantastic especialy the music camera, only one thing which lacks is the battery life, its not much bad but cant compete with that of nokia, what i say is that P1i is a superb mobile to keep with :)
