Is this P1 can be operated by only 1 hand especially when i want to write message or looking for something (just like when we use normal mobile phone without stylus) ?
And how many profiles available there?
          Thanks

i am using this phone for almost two months now, superb phone, for a long time i was looking at an excel editor , this is the perfect one, the document features are too good.

if you looking at a business phone, with multimedia features, this is the only one in market today

I am using this fone about a week now and i found out its advantages:

                * it's pretty amazing that it has Wi-Fi, GPRS and 3G. I could read and send e mail wherever i go, whenever i want. I could surf the web and do my research. I stay connected with my colleagues and friends through instant messaging and sms.

                * The good thing is that it also has productivity softwares like word, excell and powerpoint which handle my files and documents easily. Acrobat Reader also works well in handling pdf files.

                * The presence of bluetooth, infrared and usb make it more useful in file sharing and storing.

                Some of the disadvantages are:

                * keypad -not user-friendly. It's difficult to use.

                * it crashes - when i installed applications in it, it crashed several times making its performance too slow and it restarted.

These are just some of my observations. Thank you.

                My Rating -

Design - 8.5 (i wish sony ericsson made it more stylish and attractive)

Features - 8.5 (i have tried several phones and none of them compensates well to my expectation. Well hope this phone does.)

Performance - 8.5 (so far, so good)

                  xtian,

undescore character can be found on NUMBERS section of internal keyboard. This must be activated by stick (touchscreen).
Beautiful phone, I got it since October 2007.
                  cheers

Yup, it does have a adobe reader program, you can also upgrade it to pdf+ standard so that you can open bigger files/more formats (I think)

Greetings P1 users. Im confused between buying this phone and the W960. This phone is $170 cheaper than the W960 and since there is a working walkman player for it and i already have a 4GB M2 (i can get 16GB later and itll have more memory than W960) s i guess im going for this one.

The only thing is that with w960, when u run a java app or game, you can touch the screen to press left or right due o the lack of hardware buttons. That doesnt hold true fo the P990. Does this wok for the P1?? This would really help me in my decision because i have alot of java games and would love to play them on this beauty. Also can you play the java games using the 2, 4, 6 and 8 keys like with the W960??? Another main question is if the screen is on par with the W960 screen, colour wise and touch wise ( i think the W960 screen is more optimized for touch usage but i could be wrong).

Thank you so much fo your help!
