This is one of the best phones ever.I've been using it 4 3yrs now and it's still very good.Can't find a replacement that will be a real upgrade.Most high end phones are only marginally better and very expensive.But I've been reading comments from people who say the music player can be upgraded to walkman version 3 which improves the sound quality.How do you do that?

rc, 02 Feb 2011can eny one tell me the settings for free internet in this ... moredownload PC suite (if you don't have one), followed by Update Service (download), (go to SonyEricsson.com for free download), just update the service, to have your WIFI running. hope this helps.

i love this phone coz my x bf gave it on my birthday but the problem is you will see that the signal is full even if its no network... it always have no signal and when someone called me on 9secs and the signal is gone.. ived tried to repair it but same problem i encountered .. can anyone tell me how to fix this phone because i really like it... tnx

Hi! ive been using my p1i for more than 3 years now and its perfectly doing fine until today. it tells me i got no coverage even if i have. i tried my simcard on another phone and it has coverage. can anyone help me what to do on my phone? would it be fixed by doing a master reset? i also like to ask if my msg will be saved when i backed up my files through pc su pc suite? i dont want my msg to be deleted.. pls help me

My P1i and I got married Three years ago and the relation gets stronger every when new touch screens come on board. Coz the honest truth is nothing and i mean NOTHING comes close when it comes to P1i vs other touch phones. Recently my p1i crashed and i had to re-install the software and i lost everything!!! but hey like any other relationships there are the ups and downs ;-) so it cool. ALL IN ALL AND IN MUCH RESPECT SONY ERICSSON P1i ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I like this phone...
great..
but this phone only have 208 MHz processor.
if a faster processor, then this phone is definitely much more abundant...
