hi, just got my p1i, its great from what i have seen so far. i would say its a very good bargain compared even to very excellent nokia phones like the n95, its got better camera, i believe a better screen display and can do most of what the n95 does, thats not to say its better anyway but its cheaper so a very good bargain.
would like to know how to take the greatest advantage of my p1, like applications, games and software updates etc.

hi guys! been wonderin if this phone's really good. i'm planning to get one soon so i'd like to know what are the advantages and disadvantages of owning this phone. i really like the functionality of this phone but is it really good? i mean compared to other phones, say the P990i, which do you think is better? need your help guys. thanks a lot.

battery life is excellent.with heavy use,you need to charge every second day.

forgot to mention if heavy usage for eg. dis is wat i do. Music via heapdhones full volume 2 - 4 hours a day.calls + over 100 txts messaging, wifi 2 hours. will last 2.5 days.
better dan n95 battery or shall i say nokia battery which only last one day lol... but if u dont do heavy usage phone will last up to 4 days maybe 5 days.

how does one use GPS no this phone. In India the P1I says with GPS, any idea if it has a reciever or just some preloaded software that connects to the net?

hey i have this fone and the sound is great i really like it although i dont use it as a walkman only because im a spray painter and dont take the chance of getting it wreked

Yahoo messenger on IM+ had login problems even with recent version like 4.05 and then i have upgraded it to latest version 4.06. it's working very well now. The size of the application has been reduced from 817kb to 421kb.good application for chatting.
Pls suggest me an application to find file and folders stored in phone and memory card.

I've never used a P1, but my understanding is that if you're looking for a multimedia powerhouse then the N95 would be the way to go. If you're looking for a PDA type phone for business use then this'd be your bet. Or, you could get the best of both worlds and get the W960...

Hi,
On most of the SE phones the LED flash can also be used as a torch light. I wanted to know whether we can use the P1's LED flash as a torch light. I love this phone and will buy it soon.. SE is the best.. I love it.

Hi all. I posted a msg last week asking if anyone was having issues getting connected to Yahoo Messenger via IM+ (while MSN Messenger was fine).
Apparently, Yahoo has changed it's protocols, and so a new version of IM+ has been released. I upgraded to the latest version (v4.06 for SE P1i) and it now works fine. The new version of the software has few other improvement too over the previous v3.72 I was using.
Just thought I'll post this msg. It may be of help to someone.

excellent phone.been using this phone for 8 months now.supplements my life perfectly,mainly my professional life.the P5 with the GPS will make this phone the ideal phone for many.at the moment P1i rules.excellent and stable.
