is this phnoe any good????? for thoese people useing or used it bfore it is any good???? how much is it ???? the main reaon y i like thois phone is it has Wi-Fi ...and it has touch screen. it has most of Features a phone should have.. the camera is not the best but not crappy. its at least 3.15 MP
omg and the battery is the longest i have seen...

P1 vs. HTC Touch... thats a difficult one!
Both very good phones (I have used both), however, I love my HTC Touch!
P1 probably offers a little more, however, if you aren't too fussed about a external keypad... I say go for HTC Touch

Plz instal GPS system in p1 to see map and rod direction & increase camera 3.5Mpa to 10Mpa because nokia lounching its 7mpa camera phone, make steel body of P1 phone

I haven't found any option to disable the status bar lock during calls. Maybe it's enabled by default so whenever we make a call, we won't mistakenly touch anything on the taskbar. Suggest that you use the web button on the top-right side of the phone as a shortcut to Task Manager. It's easier that way.
To Rakero;
Have you tried using a different memory stick? Maybe you have a defective memory stick. Try installing your programs on your phone memory or try using the phone without the memory stick.

Hello.. I'm Rakero.
I have problem with my P1i.. When i uninstall applications, the phone prompts:
Information
Corrupt
Application Closed
Application
Application Installer
Reason Code
KERN-EXEC
Reason Number
3
If I install application, it said
Cannot install
installation file corrupt
The problem started when all the icons of my installed (third party) applications were missing/lost on the interface.
Do anybody have the idea how to fix this problem? Please.. help me.
I really love this phone..
I already did master reset. Unfortunately, master reset did not able to delete user installed applications and settings. By unmarking "delete user installed applications and settings" the phone reset but still did not resolve the problem i mentioned above.

Status bar locked when goes to click on the top right or left side for going in main menu
and going for Volume or something else During call mean when the call is in progress
now i want to know that how i will b Unlock it for Permanently on every call this Message
appears whenever i goes for this thing

In my opnion P1i is better as P1i has QWERTY Kepad but W960i has simple HTC is good but
P1i is Better then both so i will preffer P1i (HTC Touch is also not Bad)

We cant see the number who is calling? That was Possible in all Previous P-Series

I was told this was of the best PDA's/smartphones on the market and bought it, BUT... am very disappointed! To be fair... its a good phone with many features but with all honesty i'm not really enjoying it and find that it freezes a lot.
Have used the HTC touch recently and much prefer it over the P1.
For its price... I would say this handset is a bit "over-rated"

If you are trying to connect to the internet using 3G/GPRS, make sure that your subscription allows it. If it does, then check if 3G is enabled in the SIM. Here in the philippines, we have to manually enable 3G for us to connect using 3G/GPRS.
When connecting to wi-fi, make sure that the wireless LAN you are connecting is connected to the internet. Some WLAN's are strictly for networking purposes only & are not connected to the internet.(Such as an office network). You may have connected to that kind of network that's why you can't connect to the internet.

hi, can't used my internet even thoug i could connect to wifi. it always prompt "cannot locate remote server". i already have it to Sony ericson service center. they told me its only need to be upgrade, but after upgrading it same porblem i encounter.. does anyone one who could help me? thnx

I can confirm 8GB M2 Cards work with P1i & i bought one. when u place memory card out of pakcage to p1i it already formated n says:
7,691MB (8GB)
aslo if u format via p1i it formats it unlike nokia phones dey cant format cards properly lol. boo hoo to nokia.

its great dat dey added a awesome music player wid so many different equalisers eg megabass, loudness, rock etc more dan walkman version.

depends which one u like & which functions you are looking for... P1i is business orientated, & w960 is walkman.
for me, i prefer P1i.
