      Hello.. I'm Rakero.

I have problem with my P1i.. When i uninstall applications, the phone prompts:
      Information
      Corrupt

      Application Closed
      Application
      Application Installer
      Reason Code
      KERN-EXEC
      Reason Number
      3

If I install application, it said

      Cannot install
      installation file corrupt

The problem started when all the icons of my installed (third party) applications were missing/lost on the interface.

Do anybody have the idea how to fix this problem? Please.. help me.

      I really love this phone..

I already did master reset. Unfortunately, master reset did not able to delete user installed applications and settings. By unmarking "delete user installed applications and settings" the phone reset but still did not resolve the problem i mentioned above.

      Thanks in advance!

                        Hi All
What is Bluetooth V2.0 With A2DP?

                        Bluetooth 2.0
This version, specified on November 10, 2004, is backward-compatible with 1.1. The main enhancement is the introduction of an Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) of 3.0 Mbit/s. This has the following effects

Three times faster transmission speed—up to 10 times in certain cases (up to 2.1 Mbit/s).
Lower power consumption through a reduced duty cycle.
Simplification of multi-link scenarios due to more available bandwidth.
The practical data transfer rate is 2.1 megabits per second and the basic signalling rate is about 3 megabits per second

The "Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR" specification given at the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) includes EDR and there is no specification "Bluetooth 2.0" as used by many vendors. The HTC TyTN pocket PC phone, shows "Bluetooth 2.0 without EDR" on its data sheet In many cases it is not clear whether a product claiming to support "Bluetooth 2.0" actually supports the EDR higher transfer rate.

                        Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)
This profile defines how high quality audio (stereo or mono) can be streamed from one device to another over a Bluetooth connection.[1] For example, music streamed from a mobile phone to a wireless headset.

A2DP was initially used in conjunction with an intermediate Bluetooth transceiver that connects to a standard output audio jack, encodes the incoming audio to a Bluetooth-friendly format, and sends the signal wirelessly to Bluetooth headphones that decode and play the audio. However, many Bluetooth 1.1, 1.2 mobile phones and portable media players do not natively support A2DP, while some newer Bluetooth 2.0 headphones do support it.

Bluetooth headphones, especially the more advanced models, often come with a microphone and support for the Headset (HSP), Hands-Free (HFP) and Audio/Video Remote Control (AVRCP) profiles.

A2DP is designed to transfer a 2-channel stereo audio stream, like music from an MP3 player, to a headset or car radio. This profile relies on AVDTP and GAVDP. It includes mandatory support for the low complexity SBC codec and supports optionally: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AAC, and ATRAC, and is extensible to support manufacturer-defined codecs. Most bluetooth stacks implement the SCMS-T digital rights management (DRM) scheme. In these cases it is not possible to connect the A2DP headphones for high quality audio.

                        Operating systems
Linux: Initial A2DP support was added to BlueZ in version 3.15. The instructions to set up A2DP can be found in BlueZ Wiki.
Mac OS X: As of version 10.5, Mac OS X includes native support for A2DP on Bluetooth-equipped Macs.Version 10.4 does not support A2DP, but can be hacked to enable limited functionality.
A2DP support for Mac OS X is presented by Softick with Softick Audio Gateway for Mac OS X
Palm OS: A2DP support was introduced in 2006 by Softick with their Softick Audio Gateway shareware program.
                        Symbian Series60: Devices running Series60 3rd Edition FP1 (S60v3.1/Symbian 9.1) and newer support A2DP
UIQ: UIQ 3.0 (Symbian 9.1) and newer support A2DP
Windows Mobile (previously Pocket PC): Version 5 (with AKU 2.0), based on the Windows CE 5.0 kernel, fully supports A2DP if an appropriate device is present.
Windows XP: Does not natively support A2DP, but newer Bluetooth USB dongles and built-in adapters include drivers with A2DP support.
Windows Vista: Supports A2DP after installing an April 2007 update to the Bluetooth stack, which enables A2DP for supported dongles.
BlackBerry: Supports A2DP in Operating System 4.2.from Blackberry Curve (8300 or 8310 upwards)

                            heya!!

i just got the latest firmware R9J005 a couple of days ago..

it's faster compared to the old firmware, different interface on the camera, and u can use the transitions cuz it works faster and making the phone feel like it's a laptop..

it's really up to the person what he wants in a phone.. dont simply say bad things just bcuz u don't understand the capability of the p1i.. i personally waited 3 long months b4 purchasing the phone, while checking the advantage and disadvantage of it in the period of time.. good to know that it really is good and complicated, so i'll have more time figuring out more about this phone rather than having a phone with limited boundaries/functions..

i'm in the philippines, though i'm malaysian and i think the all around price is P20,000.. depending whether it has full specs in the box..

good phone, not too expensive, and works well.. worth buying i say.. wouldnt change mine until it breaks or fall into pieces..

LET ME TELL YOU WHAT IS THIS PHONE AND WHY I THINK IT IS THE BEST IN THE MARKET
must important thing that can prove this phone is the best is to open as many programs as you can and leave it open(most of the time i have more than 10 programs on stand by) you will see it has no problem with it while a phone like n95 (that i have) when you open more than 3 or 4 program it will slow down can't take it or it will restart .(good system)
the keyboard is great once you get used to it(fast writing)
                                  great internet browser why?
                                  1. it is much faster than other phones
                                  2. you can change it as you like(landscape, full screen, fit to page, zoom in and out ...)
                                  3. you can download anything you want even computer programs in zip or rar or... then send it to wherever you want(yes you can send anything with its bluetooth) (not like other phones if it's not phone application or if it's zip or rar it will delete after download)

                                  batterys long life is unbelievable

it has all kinds of very useful applications to install

this is only the stuff that not all of us know about and there is many more

                                      What is UIQ3?
UIQ is a Graphical User Interface for the Symbian operating system, a popular OS for "smartphones" (mobile phones typically equipped with office applications, multimedia capabilities, and other programmable PDA-like features).

UIQ stands for "User Interface Quartz", and the name is derived from the codename of "Quartz" given to the first touchscreen interface developed for Symbian.

UIQ3, as the name suggests, is the third iteration of UIQ. UIQ1 was a test system and never commercially released, whilst UIQ2 was used to great success in Sony Ericsson's original "P series" of smartphones - the P800, P900, and P910 - in addition to a handful of Motorola and BenQ handsets.
