Sure you can switch the 3G on and OFF. This phone is almost perfect do not desistate to purchase it.

Any info that this fone can select gsm network or 3G ? some time ppl like to turn off 3G network..so how about this fone.

Yes,the anti-virus in dotsis is free!Just download the file(if zip format unzip it) and then through pc suite go to install programs.Install programs transfer the file in your phone and then tells you continue installation in your phone.That's is,isn' in?Ah,you will find the registration code in the readme file!

its a great phone i agree. The picture quality is great, loves the flexibilty of various input methods for messages.
However, can anyone tell me more about the battery life? My P1i really cant last for more than 12 hrs (with no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooh , gsm mode and not 3G) i had tried all i could to save batt even reducing the brightness to just 38%... anyone has any idea or suggestion or is there a power saving software or solution for this troubling factor....

roger Nokia E61i looks like hp!Maybe the materials are good but the design is stolen by other older hp phones!
I have to admit that is a very good phone with good materials and a good processor,but with only 64 MB SDRAM memory it is very slow!
SE P1i has 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM so it's much faster!

The front camera, unlike nokia dual camphones, is just strictly used for video calls. But this is a very good phone, just got it two weeks back. Works faster than my old P990i, probably because of the higher RAM and processor. It's really worth keeping.
