Hello to all SE Users
I,ve got some questions and i need to know them ..
1-does P1 supports windows mobile ?
1-Is it a Tv Mobile or video streaming is allowed in this phone?

No EDGE and Display is not very large and xcellent pixels. Why is rating so high?

No problem i m feeling in any field this device is perfect i m Firmware With R9G007 and happy with that
Waiting for new Changes in New Firmware In Phone Book (Search Option) Thats the main Thing whom for i m looking
Ram Is Good
Speed is Good
Battery Timing is 50 - 50 not so bad also not so Good
For My use this Device is Good no Complain

Technically, yes you could... But that would mean flashing your phone & losing your warranty...

To Ray:
3G is more than just video calling actually. Your web browsing also becomes faster becoz you now can download data faster. Normal GPRS can only manage up to 56kbps, but when you are in 3G, it goes up to 386kbps.=)
Also, you may want to get Opera Mini for your P1i. It's better than the Opera browser bundled with the phone for browsing html pages. =) I'm always using Opera Mini 4.0 for browsing the Web in my P1i. Highly recommended.

How long does the battery of this phone last??? I am thinking of buying this phone but for that the battery must last!

This is the one area in which Nokia is miles ahead of SE. I remember recording more than 12 times for "1" contact with my w880i. All I can say is keep trying. My old N80 back in the day, doesn't require you to record "at all". It has a built in recognizer, in which you just call out the name and it calls. Try calling when you car is not in motion, I meant at a red light or something. To be honest, unless SE have a program like Nokia does, I'm not even going to bother using the voice call. (maybe for just one or two contact that i call frequently)

I have a question and this is really pissing me off, I can't use the voice dialing, can anyone help me with that, I record the name and when I press the button on my headphone and I say the name, it says can't find, can anyone help me with that issue please. I beg you, I need it specially when i am driving.

Thanks Makr. You're right about the SIM. I too thought that could be the issue. I got a new SIM with the phone but was still using the old one. But couple of days back, I got the new 3G SIM registered, and now I am able to get 3G.
But there was another thing I wanted to confirm. The customer service guy said that 3G is only for making video calls. I thought it's also beneficial for regular internet usage. I think I have seen it work faster when I have 3G coverage. Or am I just seeing what I want to see? :-)

You just have to browse to your Yahoo! mail account via the web browser. Yahoo! Mail is only configurable for your mobile & use it for push e-mail if you are subscribed to Yahoo! Mail Plus (meaning not the free web-based yahoo mail.) The ordinary yahoo mail doesn't support POP3 & IMAP for mail forwarding purposes. (e.g. to ur phone)
The language pack in your phone is also dependent on your phone's region CDA.

Sorry for the late post... Anyway, yes the sim could be the problem... But didn't you say that you had your sim replaced with a newer, 3G-enabled sim? If that's the case, then you should contact your provider coz its probably a problem with the sim.

Anybody ever got problem with P1i speaker? Is it just me that sensitive about a vibration noise in the speaker when there is a medium to high pitch in the noise coming out of the speaker.
Any reply will very appreciated.

The web browser crashed! I can no longer browse internet pages with the phone. I am still looking at a possible way of fixing this else I will cry aloud to the whole world what i dont like about this phone. I cant imagine why the web brower should crash!

Are all SE P1i by default has built-in chinese characters in it? Is there a way to remove these characters, leaving all latin/english symbols/alphabet only?

Some says that P1i keypad is torturous.. well, P1i users should get used to it.. It's just the same experienced when we first encountered the D-pad of most mobile phones, it took me a week to master the D-pad keys. Same with P1i keypads!
