I got new Bluetooth earfone SE288. It takes calls OK but I cannot switch music to bluetooth.
Any ideas??

Let me rephrase the tip:
Writing on top 1/3 of screen would recognize as numbers and symbols
writing on middle 1/3 of screen would recognize letter as upper case
writing on bottom 1/3 of screen would recognize letter as lower case

To sohag:
I'm in the SMS screen(just for example). I click on the contents page on the bottom half of screen. On the top right hand corner, right under the batery indicator and the back button, there should be three logos.
Click the "中" once to make it become "英", then just write on the screen(letter by letter though, just give like a 1 sec pause instead of wriitng non stop).
Tip: I just realize that no matter if you are writing in upper or lower case, if you write on top half of the screen, it will be upper, bottom half, it will be lower, how wierd, heh?
Just go to the msn or hotmail page and click on messenger and sign in

I can use the key to write in elglish but when but it doesn,t recognise the handwriting in elglish keep writing in chinese.
can anyone also tell me how to use MSN messenger on my sony ericsson P1i and how to upgrade the firmware and where to get it.

Just got my P1i yesterday. Altough, this is my first smartphone, it is simply amazing. Here is my short mini review about this phone with both pro's and cons:
My version is the chinese version.
Pros:
Connectivity:
Before I got the phone I had doubts about the wi-fi b and couldn't decide between symbian and window mobile.
While using Wi-Fi, it is mighty fast(salesperson told me it has a 400mhz processor, don't know if it's true)
It was even faster than the N80 I used to have. I thought I needed to download a program for msn messenger, I was wrong, it was already installed, and works flawlessly.
Input:
Writing chinese is even faster than writing on my home computer, it recognizes words faster. Sohag mentioned about he or she cannot write in english, I just tried it on the sms pad and it could, just don't expect to write as if you are writing on paper. It recognizes the letters fast enough though.
the qwerty keyboard is a little wierd yet good because it's indented in which you can type the characters left or write with precision. When writing numbers for contacts, you have to write on the top half of the sceen, wierd but works(i'm not complaing)
Reception- although its tri-band but it's alot better than the W880 I had before.
Business card scanner- cannot take color cards? I just tried it once, it can still recognize the phone number only, but my card was a really bad one.
Cons:
1)No matter how strong the battery, it is never strong enough. While using wi-fi non-stop for an hour or two, it decreases to around 55-60%. but I was also using bluetooh headseat before and after wifi.
2) not used to hunting for simple functions such as ringtone and vibrate, I guess smartphones are like that
3) I feel dialing numbers with the qwerty is not as easy as a normal keypad.
4) No slideshow or dedicated media players, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I need to download those
However, I'm impressed. As for the connection issues, usually it's harder to connect at home, I couldn't connect at home yet(I've tried previous methods of shuting powersave, etc.) but it's not the phone's fault but rather some work on the home internet. Even my old N80 could not connect.

Hi All,
Does anyone know were I can get a utility sofwtare for the P1 to enable me do a "find" in my contacts, as SE has mysteriously omitted it from the P1. It was a very useful tool in the P990i.

do you really mean that the p1i can also play real audio/video vbr. because i know it can play real files is, almost every site said that it can play real files, but with vbr, i dont know(if can it play rmvbr)
