To Faryal:
Hi! ur welcome.
Just remember to back-up your phone before updating. & backup everything except the 3rd party applications and files in the memory stick. Most backup & restore problems are related to 3rd party applications(programs & applications not bundled with the phone).

I'm only concerned about wi-fi b. Honestly, is it slow? I've used my psp for wi-fi several times only, because it was getting annoying. I would have to wait for all the photos to load before I can go into any link. Would the p1i be better? Thanks.

Had this phone for about three months now, updated the firmware on my own and am pretty happy with it. Sound quality is good, and the camera pictures, well, there are ok...nothing to write home about. 3.2MP may sound like a lot but it's really that great. In the shade, noise starts to creep in. The WLAN is flawless, problem is that getting it to work with WEP and WPA can be hassle.
Nagivation needs improvement. There are navigational kinks that makes it cubersome to use. For example there is no quit button for some of the apps. The camera app is one. I hate using it.
Battery life is generally ok, until you start to use the camera. As long as the camera app is being used, the battery starts to drain. Battery life is probably better than the N95 but not a whole lot more.
The OS is more stable, had minor problems with it. Sometimes when you leave too many apps open, the system will suddenly quit and tell you it is is rebooting to optimize performance.
Overall, a nice phone to own. If you are not too picky about the camera, then you should get this. It may not have HDSPA but that's a minor issue for me.

Hi to all P1 & SE users,
I am looking forward to buy a P1 & i am currently using a P990i.
I luv my P990i but the only thing it lacks is the sound. The ring tone sound is too low.
Also the sound of Music player on loudspeaker & Headphones is low. So pls any P1 user can tell me weather the sound quality of P1 is better than P990i.

Yes you can connect to wi-fi. I use it everyday actually. Connecting to the internet via wi-fi is not a problem.

World Generic language is by default English but you can download language packs at the Sony Ericsson website. There is also an option to change language after updating the phone though im not so sure about it.
Battery life depends on use. If you use the wi-fi, music, bluetooth, camera most of the time then you have to charge the phone every night.
I text a lot, use the radio & music player for about 4-6 hrs a day & use wi-fi for about an hour everyday. And every night or early next day, i have to charge the phone already. Good thing the P1i needs only about an hour & a half to get a full charge.
The touchscreen is responsive to finger presses so you can actually use the touchscreen without using the stylus/pen.

Hi!
To Faryal:
If you have access to the firmware update R9J005, i suggest that you do the update becoz it speeds up the phone.
Otherwise, if you cannot update to R9J005 & can only update to R9H004, i suggest that you just stick to R9G007 becoz the R9H doesn't have much to offer against the R9G.
Hope this helps.

According to my experience 2-3 hours of music will drain around 20-25% of battery while the sound power is around in the middle (which is enough to supress normal environmental noises).
Sorry, but I don't have exact numbers.
