naseer bhi plzz u hate se???i have also used p 800 900 910 990 and know 1.800 is best when it was.900 good 910 good and 990 hangs and get restarted by it self.990 was litle problamatic.now p1 its small size power house.never get retarted by it self. i have for 3 months.i think if u like touchscreen then then p1 is best bt only one drwa back that uiq 3.0 software is not available for free.butt best thing greatets battery time
i used 2 make long calls.myy record ussage wag 7 hors.and there was still 23% battery.

I was using it since and did not found any other problem in the rest of the features, and there are really a lot of them. I will try again with the PC in more detail.
Overall I can say this is an awesome phone... actually I'm using it instead of my PC and make phonecalls as well. :)
Processor is 200Mhz yes, but it can do encryption from hardware. I don't even notice in performance that I was connecting to my router at home with WPA2.
For firmware: stick to the current unless you have serious problem without workaround. I had a failed upgrade on my second day and had to go back to SE to fix it.
For pdf: hopefully nobody expects to open documents optimized for 1024*768 or higher resolution with tons of pictures. Look for converter and optimize it for phones, that will help.

your comments are really an eye opener for the people planning to buy p1i.I had lot of hanging and restarting problem with p990i and its really very sad to know that this fone also shows the same problem.
so tell me nasserr how often ur fone hangs and restarts??

Wow!
P1i is a greatest fone ever from SE, even when it's compared with N95.., P1i still hav pros, like the touchsceen, that is difficult if we browse using a keypad.., trackID is a great feature that Nokia don't hav.., this fone also hav xcellent sound when using headset.
N95 hav 5Mpx camera?! Don't need it! It just an fone, not a digicam, we use camera in fone is just for fun..
D one thing that i don't excited with this fone is bussiness card scanner, i don't need it..

P1i by far. The e61i is a great phone, but if you're after attention to detail, then you need a great touch screen. Also the p1i has all the features of the e61i, but more!

my sister got a new P1 and her problem is the response of the hand writing recognition, it is slow, Also when u use the camera, it is also slow to response.. pls help how to make it fast.. TIA

Hey mates
Just to let you know that the processor speed or cpu (Central Processing Unit) is 208Mhz and with 128MB Ram, this pda is super fast due to the speed of ram, twice as more as any other phone which holds 64MB ram

Hi all ,
i'd just bought this phone 3 days ago, & i wanna say that it's a "more than great device"
never restart by itself, no hangup,it do nothing wrong with me at least.
i'd copied the contact from my old phone which it was nokia 6230i to the SIM then to SE P1i so easily & fast.
word , office & PDF fils works good,
trak ID is fine, the camera is 3.15 exactelly.
it's trullu a fantastic SE P1i.

I have a problem with my SE P1, the phone is always restart by itself and it's almost everyday since I have it 2 weeks ago. Is there anyone know or have same experience like me. And how to fix it? thanks

Arun, that black arrow is a part of the interface, it divides writing area in alphabetic and numeric. RTFM

Dear All
dont try to convience me, al ready decided to buy HTC Tyttn II or S730, that is it.
Because I was having already P990 and P910, and i did the update more than 7 times, but when you talk about PDA you should (must) put your finger HTC phones or E90 from Nokia, SE they are only foucing on Camera pix or such things, any how thanks for your reply and good comments.

Nasser. The Problem with w lan will probally be your router. You would need to set priority for the phone to stop it hanging or the internet is very slow due to the time you use the internet. Hope this is a help

You know, in order to like or even love this phone you have to be crazy about SE. So, if you purchased this phone, enjoy it. If you have problems, call SE they are very helpfull. I have P1 for a week now, the only problem that I had is that bluetooth was not connecting to my B&O Earset 2, but it was connecting to my laptop, so I called SE and they told me to update the phone. Done, everything is working(knock on wood). So don't bash it, and nobody here wants to know your oppinion on other phones, because all that is about P1.
