Anthony, it does have an on-screen qwerty board (I love all the options and make use of the on-screen qwerty board most of the time);
Anthony, definitely the P1i (looooove mine!) But, if you are looking for an excellent camera, my old Sony Ericsson s700i's camera pictures are actually looking better than the P1i's, due to the "green"-problem. Otherwise great bursting feature and other effects. The latest 7 or 8-series of SE has also excellent camera-feautures;
Raj, it does have GPS. I got the Wayvinder bluetooth packaged in the deal, which you connect to the car and so you can make and receive calls while the GPS is connected. ?I also got the Wayfinder Navigator and a 1year subscription included in the deal. To have it working realtime, you have to be connected to the internet via GPRS, though. Otherwise, working like a charm!

It's a wonderful phone having almost all features required for business and personal use. Skype can be installed on this mobile. I have skype and IM+ all in one messenger but i am unable to connect thru gprs.kindly suggest me how to setup gmail in phone message menu.i have searched for settings but could not get proper settings for this phone. Pls send settings. Thank u in advance

Yes you can call without using the screen. Just entet the number and press ok. You can also call from the contacts as well.

Hello any P1 user???Please can anyone tell me how a call can be made with out using the touch screen. Is it possible by entering the number from keypad and pressing the OK key on the keypad? Hi guys
Does anybody know if I can join two Blue Tooth users to the P1?
I've got both Parrot Hands Free and the GPS but can't seem to get them both to link up at the same time?

I have been using this phone for 2 months now, quite impressive no doubt about it, but I have couple of questions if you all can help me. I am not able to find the TrackID application its only available from FM radio, what about standby clock like other sony phones, when the phone is not in use, cant set up that as well. Any answers.

hey have u checked the i-mate 9502 which is cuming soon.it looks like a very cool product hehe but i guess being the first i-mate fone with 3 mp camera it wd b very expensive.

Yes i used I-mate JasJar i was unhappy because of its battery timing so i have sold it only 3days for i used it now i i like JasJam one Incoming Device From HTC Shift but i will never gor Expect of Sonyericsson
i will say about P990i u did right thing as u have sold it if u intrested in Uiq then i think so there nothing device batter then Sonyericsson Friendly user
i used all the P-Series phones all is good
so i cant think or cant go for any other device
P1i is Perfect in Every field also with Notes with Messages with Phone book Buggs

Great Phone, had mine for two weeks now, no nonsense, no snags phone, great video recorder, decent GPS functionality with the Wayfinder module provided in the phone packaging. For those of you wanting to know : you can end close all applications through selecting the "More" otion in the right bottom corner and "End All" will close all open applications. I also have the P99oi, the P1i is far better, no hangs, no slugishness and no call dropping or automatic rebooting due to indadequate RAM. SE did this one right!

hi, have been using this phone for the past three mths, no issues i am facing with the phone, but have one question if anyone could help, for dialling a number, one has to use the querty keyboard, is there a touch dial pad software available where in u can dial using touchscreen. Kindly help.
