what a phone lol! The N95 is far too better than this except for the fact that the n95 has vvv poor battery life but it outperforms p1 in all the other departments. SE needs to catch up with nokia quickly cuz i'm n SE fan n really like their phones.

Answering a few questions below me:
Original lock code is 0000
Symbian 9.1 and 9.2 have negligible differences. (waiting for 9.5 though)
The phone is great. Much better looking than in the pictures. I've been showing it off to people who are very fashion conscious and they like it.
Its fast. I have tons of applications open at the same time, but no memory errors and no slowdowns. Pretty much the slowest application to launch are java games and the camera everything else is pretty quick.
Wifi is a little fiddly. It has problems with my router, but thats actually a fault with the cheapo router i have at home. It worked for a bit and the net was fast. I don't have a particularly fast connection, but the mobile speed was decent. close enough to my desktop speed.
Interface is a dream to use. Everything is where it should be. I can access anything I want from anywhere. Only problems are with the connection managers which are a little complex, but thats fine.
Sound quality is very good. Loudspeaker has good deffinition for a phone. Not comparable to an N95 but it holds its own.
Keypad is very comfortable and unlike the gsmarena review, I found myself typing much faster than a standard keypad and just as fast as on a blackberry.
Camera is good too. I normally use a dslr but this phone is good for candid shots.
For the price and features, this phone can't be beat.

@Desire .... P1 is phone with pda functions and X2Flame is PDA with phone functions so cant compare....
X2 is one the best PDAs i have seen its fast n reliable. powerhouse in palms... but aint that sleek n is more of aPDA than phone if u know what i mean...
honestly more i use the phone i dont think its an upgraded p990
its actually upgraded M600 or M608. P990s upgrade might hit out later or early next year may be... thats my views anyways

I am just curious regarding the price of this phone. Here in the Philippines, the price has already been around 23,000 pesos compared to last week's price of 29,000 pesos. Hope that still would go down below 20,000 pesos then I'll think if I'm gonna buy this or not. At less than 20,000 pesos, this phone would be a great catch considering there's WIFI, touchscreen, 3G, 3.2MP camera, and a UIQ 3.1 OS. I'll wait around...

Simply the best of the best & if you can afford to buy it with a good rate it will simply be the best of the best Smart Mobile phones as i stated before it is a reliable technology which is the best thing i believe, other brands you can buy them ten times more expensive and you cannot rely on them at all especially if you are somebody who moves a lot and ask too much from your mobile phone.

having worked in the mobile telefone business for more than 2 yrs and having used both the n95 and the p1i i can say that the n95 is symbolic of the total hash that nokia is making of all current handsets, very slow operating system, needs updating constantly via pc whereas sony's can be done by push messages, big and chunky and feels cheap in your hand, battery a joke, only 2 days max and even then you'd have to not use it at all to get that. P1 is a smaller lighter version of the p990 - without that stupid flip down keypad, the rocker qwerty keypad is brill and the battery is immense even when using wifi, tom tom nav 6 can be uploaded onto handset and unlike n95 sat nav it has full postcode and doesnt take 4eva to load and find you via the gps. e series i'm afraid are the same so my advice either the sony p1, w960 or k850 are the way to go, or for all you pda lovers out there, the xda orbit from o2.
