I just took delivery of my P1, I have used all P series from the P800. Its a brilliant phone, I however observed an omission. The "find" function in the "contacts" menu is now longer provided in the P1. That function is extremely important as it helps find contacts which cannot be found in alphabetical order. For instance, the last 5 digits of a number can be searched to produce the equivalent contact or to search for all contacts in a particular country. Does anyone know how it can be done or its an omission which will be corrected in the next software release?

Just saw the Nokia E90 going for about US$850 and the SE P1i for about US$580 here in SGP. That's a pretty steep difference of about US$230 which is 47% higher than the P1i.

I read N95 forum and peple are just having a hard time to had it. Someone wrote that he is guilty to sell his W810i for it..other says that this iron block's battery drained as they entered in a mall..gps is draining battery very fast..etc.

this phone has features that can be used on a daily basis. wifi is 11mbps . GPS acessory can be added...

What a crap device. Is a P990i in new clothing - faults and all -. I just had mine returned under the 7 days cool off period. After the P990i's fiasco I have learned my lesson. I had to pay in for a N95 and so far so good. Never had a Nokia before but now I understand why they are so far ahead in the cell phone market.

Thanks buzz kill for the response.
The general response has been that the E90 is the one to go with as my main usage would be for reading/viewing rather than typing. That said, I am now looking at Symbian voice recognition software to help me enter text or other tasks.

desmond, i own an e90 and i just purchased the P1 for my cousin the other day. If you are looking for pocketability then get the P1. Aside from its size, the E90 is a far better overall phone. hands down, from the web browsing experience, multi media usage, keypad..etc, you will not miss the touch screen..
