You can watch divx videos using divx for mobile player.. You just have to set recode the video using "total video converter" and set the video to a lower setting using the video resolution that's right for your P1i.. about 320x240. The video quality looks good, audio is great!.

I accidentally DROPPED the phone for about 8 times since I bought it a year ago... and it still works perfect! You'll be amazed of how SMART this phone can be.

I suggest you to get this phone because it's got lot of features and the camera is awesome. You can install a lot of applications in this phone.

I am very much innterested about this fone. but seems that your comments here are much complicated that made me afraid of buying this stuff? though I really love this fone but I don't want to waste my money out of nothing if this are the issue.=BRENT of PHILS.

Upgraded the PC Suite software that communicates with the phone from PC from ver. 1.5.8 to ver. 1.5.26 - now PC Suite won't run. Keeps telling me it can't load the configuration. Infuriating!! Have tried everything to solve it, but no success. Anyone have any ideas?? Tx.

Hi I am using the P1i for one year . I had to reload the soft were as it was hanging after three months of use. Now My phone doesn't respond to the touch screen on all commands placed on the left lower corner of the screen after purchasing a new 1 gb sony memory stick and inserting it in its place I pressed factory setting . I am frustrated please help

Anonymous, 10 Jul 2009doing a reset pretty much erases all data that installed in... moreI do understand what mester reset means and i use to do it, the issue on my p1i is that after doing the master reset and erase all data an appl(gmail, opera, games,etc...), now it doens allow to install any applications.
It doesnt run: Picture editor, uninstall, install, storage wizard, certificate manager, java certificate and master reset.
can please someone help me.

i.m kinda confused when i tried to update this phone it says to hold the c button until it prompted to release the c button. BUT where the hell is the c button????

doing a reset pretty much erases all data that installed in the unit, what part of a reset didn't you understand? plus the phone will ask that if you do master reset it'll delete all the data.

Hi, been using the P1i for over 2 years now. its a great phone, beats a whole bunch of smartphones that come later. I love the phone but i think i'm going to have to let it go since for the 2nd time in 1 year the touch screen has gradually stopped responding. Now it has zero response. The first time this happend the SE service station charged me 6.5k to change the touch screen. Now its gone again. Cant caliberate the screen in setup wizard, factory setting defaults dont work, the screen test *up*down...etc, does not do anything. Anyone had and solved similar problem. Any advice? I really hate to let this phone go. TIA
