CHAI, 09 Mar 2009I bought P1 in Aug 08... It has been working fine till now.... moreyes problem with eception, which switch off sometime while calling, for no reason, i thought it was 3 network but it seems as you said the antenna

was planning to buy this phone but now i kon it's camera isn't dat good wont buy it again. so now i'll get ah c905 instead cus i was only buying it to use the camera.

I have a one sony ericsson P1i it's good thing. I suggest that sony ericsson P1i should integret English dictionary (English to English).

asru, 08 Mar 2009want to install the fring and free call. How ?yes it does support fring over wifi or 3g/gprs. I have a p1i and use it for voice over IP calls in googletalk and skype.
also for the other question asked. I got an 8GB m2 card in it and no problem. works perfect.
It does support 16GB as well. Wish i cud find one to buy.

I have this handset currently and it is one of the best Sony Eriksson`s i have used,than the k850i.fantastic features,good quality screen,easy access to application although slow at times.
overall a good make,well done!!

aj, 09 Mar 2009is it true that the camera of this fone is not that good?..... moreyeah..the picture quality of this phone is not really good but all the other features are okay..If you're planning to buy a phone with good picture quality go for sony ericsson k series or buy a digital camera. I'm using this phone now and I really love it except for it's camera. But if you try to take picture outdoors it will really be good..

I bought P1 in Aug 08... It has been working fine till now.
Now a days, all of sudden... intermittently the network goes off. At left top.. there is red dotted line and it shows No Network.
I have inserted different service provider and observed. Same problem.
Guess then something wrong with Antenna.
Anyone has faced this problem.

asru, 08 Mar 2009want to install the fring and free call. How ?No u cant use P1 for fring because it does'nt support VOIP calls. if you want to use fring or free call go for Nokia E series.
