There is a mod available (if u know wat i mean) to assign the shortcut button to on d flashlight. u will have to hack ur phne first n google fr the mod. if ur unsure how to do this drop me a mail - ankie_004 at yahoo dot com
2. the reason is the pictures u take are too blurred for the phone to recognize the characters. hold the phone firmly without shaking while taking the photo. also give time for the autofocus to focus clearly. when u press the camera button halfway u will see a green dot on the left top corner blinking. keep holding it for about 2 seconds until the blinking stops, and the picture is focused. then press harder to take the shot
3. Before u use opera or any browser for that matter. check to see if ur internet settings are set corretly. u'll have 2 get the settings from ur service provider

and another question is that, how can i properly use the business scanner coz everytime i capture an image or browse for existing image, it remains blurred and when i process it, it says "failed"

This is the best phone i ever had in my life.i've changed my phones frequently and have had lots of different experiences.but with the P1i,i must say,it was the best experience.
With some other branded phones you can get great features but it's just a one phone of that branded,there are lots of the same out there.but with the P1i you'll just be lucky enough to have THE ONE AND YOURS ONLY PHONE,if u know what i mean.there is lots of modding that can be done to the phone,and,believe me,it just feels great when you have something special on your hand.
If you look in the right place,you'll find everything you need for modding the P1i.
In conclusion,i would love to suggest anyone to try out this phone.
