yooooo sheep dude wake up the phone will not be upgraded for at least 1 year that´s what they told me when i called sonyericsson so stop panicking the people!they aren´t upgrading the phone because the phone has everything that a man needs.even the nokia 3650 that will be coming out in about 1 month is a lot behind in technology comparing to p800 so relax!p800 will be the phone of the year 2003 believe me

Sheep is talking out of his a*se!!! SE will not bring out a new version of the P800 but will release new versions of the ROM which we can all upgrade to free of charge.
The P800 successor will not be available for at least a year to 2 years.

Socrates, just the os is WinCE(which is a really stable and good portable os), the rest is not MS. The company is Swedish, but some parts are not. MS is not behind this phone, MS only pushes for their Smartphones 2002-phones. Check MS sites, you won't find any info about Neonode there.

DO NOT BUY THE 1ST GENERATION P800
Major software and circit upgrade in the works for version.2 of the phone.
Sony/Ericsson will not release a press-statement because they want sales from the first generation P800.
EXPECT P800 SECOND GENERATION AROUND JUNE JULY....
Like the T68 upgrade to T68i, the P800 will upgrade to P800i.
YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED.

Sheep I work in a Sonyericsson service and I must inform you and anybody who is interested that p800 will not be updated for at least 1.5 years!

to everyone that bought the p800:

the phone is already being updated by sony/ericsson.... an updated model will be released in about 4-6 months with hopefully all the bugs fixed. for example: touch screen not working, freezing up wap, problems with blue tooth etc.

It is a magic and I think this mobile is not for earth . I read the review on this phone and tried on my P800 , what I could see was unbliveable to me thanks to sony and ericsson for this pice of art
