I cant decide between a Mitac 8390 and a Sony Ericsson P900? Which is better in functions and design? Which is better in looks? and Which is better overall. Any opinions will help. Thanks.

in my previous flames i didn't mention sumsung, my bad, i forgot.
sumsung sure does have some nice cutie phones, but they don't even come close to p900, let's talk about d410, this phone is more than ugly, if u ever slide it up, it looks like its unbalanced and screwed back, the fuctions of the sumsung limits the user to do pretty much anything that a p900 could do. d410 is huge, bigger than motorola v600, wider than p900. and screen is almost 2 times smaller than the p900.
wow, panasonic has some good phones, their cutie tiny cutie gd55 and gd70, they are the best sellers here in my store, why? gd55 is cheap. it is cheap, and it is very cheap. gd70 has a very unique design to it, thus regardless of its high price (around $250) girls fall for it. but these two lil things can't even compare to the greatness of the p900, thus, let's exclude panasonic out of the equation. sure inno 90 is a nice phone (inno 80 sucks) specially the white colored inno 90 (it has better functions than the silver inno 90 about $40 more) but HAVE U TRIED A INNO B4? inno is a piece of junk that breaks or freezes more often than rabbits have sex.
LG? life is good really? for verizion? u gotta be joking with me, their cdma phones are a joke. sharp is nice, but the only thing nice about them is their screen and camera, i guess a monitor manufacture just cannot move a step higher. benQ is funny, they were called acer until a few years back they changed their name to benQ, wow have u seen their phones? ( i currently have one in stock) it sucks. philips, wow, your phone can bluetooth to a tv!! try to have a tiny picture showed on a tv, you will not be happy when u see the resolution of it. mitac, go back to make some more laptops. NEC, more LCDs, mitsubishi, make cars not phones, evo 8 is nice. siemens, you guys fu%%ked up your german technology roots, you guys used to be ahead of the technology, what now? p900 beats every one of your cheap phones combined. alcatel (wtf is this company? any one heard of them? 1900 or 850 only?) maxon, THEY ARE THE WROST PHONES EVER THAT MEETS US MARKET. SURE THEY MIGHT BE NICE IN SOUTH AFRICA, BUT NO, GET OUT OF THE US, AND GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY. BECAUSE YOU SU$k.

nokia recently release 1100, which is a piece of crap that should be released 15 years back when we all had phones like that.

s700, p900 which is better?
are you kidding me? i have 2 s700 in my store for sale (yes i imported them) they are very nice with their 1.3 meg camara, and they look like a camara in the back, so? k700 looks like a camara too, but s700 is too big without a touch screen and its not even close to the p900.
once the best p1000/p910 comes out i will buy it.

last thing, don't mind that the phone is huge compared to other phones. with today's technology we have something called "BLUETOOTH" i currently own a hs820, yes the one that comes with v80 (yes i brought the v80 for this headphone). auto dail, picture dial, wireless freedom. i keep my p900 in my pocket all the time and use the motorola hs820 (not the cheap hs810). this motorola headphone works very well with the p900.

p900 has tft TOUCH SCREEN, so what other phones has 262k or 256k, if u ever seen this phone playing a mp4 on 65k its about the same. also, who cares about 1.0 or 1.3 megapixtal camera, try surfing the web on a gx32 or if u ever used a nokia 7610 (i did) u will know that IT SUCKS why? because of its size, small screen, high price (about $600 without activation) and NOT TOUCH SCREEN.
wow , 7610 has 8x digital zoom, have you used it? it sucks, it doesn't digital enchance, so after u take the photo, it is very unclear with 8x zoom. wow e398 has a tiny tiny cutie cutie memery card of 64mb. so? p900 supports up to 128 mb duo, and if u got a vaio ( i do) i just switch around the sony memory card to exchange files. wow palm software is better. sure it is, it has over 5000 of useless craps. yes, some games are good, amazing real time strategy games that reminds me of red alert. but if u compare these games to the virtual rally demo that comes with the p900, u know ur missing out. wow palm software is easy to patch so i don't have to pay a cent to use it cracked, as compared to symbian os. sorry, i don't even wanna comment on that, cause u are wasting your time on a treo 270/300/600 all the same. wow PDTalk has a english-chinese dictionary with camera and touch screen for the price of $330. p900 has a english-chinese dictionary, and a CHINESE OS that enables u to surf website that contains chinese language in java. try to log on to hotmail in your lil treo and u will be stucked in a dail up or gprs connection unable to break though hotmail's java scripts. good game.

my first phone was motorola a338, 2nd one was treo 270, my current phone is p900, there is NOTHING that compares to the p900, why? try the 3d engine of this phone. U MUST PLAY that rally demo to fully understand why this phone is THE BEST. i don't think any other phones can even match to the complexcity. also, i own a phone store in ca, we carry all imports. for a p900 its FREE with activation. cingular only. thank you

Nice design but lacks better camera resolution and TFT display resolution for the price. Sony can do better than this!!!!!!!

excellent , beautiful , smart , exciting , phone . i have one , i live once , i feel the jog dial one . the jog dial is very good . the jog dial is more better than a five way joy stick . i love the jog dial . i like p 900 . sony ericsson is the best .

Good phone, but bulky. Im happy with it but decided to buy a second phone, Panasonic G51 E, cause I got tired of carrying the P900 around @ wrk. I got a good deal on my P900 cuz i paid 466 including tax, and got a 400 dollars bakk in rebates. I wouldnt pay full price for the phone tho.
