I have been trialling the P900 since pre-release as my compnay provides mobile middleware such as remote email/contact/calendar and core business applications and it is a fantastic phone. It is better than the 800 in a number of ways, but ergonomically it is right on the nail. The Symbian software is much more stable and over all for not just email (PIM)the 900 beats IPAQs, Palms and especially the rather dated Blackberry.

xda II, or i-Mate- the Pocket PC Phone edition with complete BT support is now available in Dubai as discussed in the PPCW.Net site, link: http://217.160.215.102/index.php
if you dig PPC and you are concerned by the limitation of any killer software support for the P800/P900, then check out the i-Mate- this one ROCKS!!!

          Hello!

I saw you auction in Ebay and from that auction site i came somehow to this site.
I was wondering how much 5 units of P800 costs inclusive shipping etc to Sweden and how much does P900 cost with shipping to Sweden etc.
And tell me about the payment method you use.
I want the most secured way of payment because i dont want to get fooled once again.
So if you can do Cash on collect or if you can come to Sweden we can make a deal.
          Awaiting your answer.

          Best regards
          Kez

If anybody wants more news about this SGH-i505 then go tho this link http://www.brighthand.com/article/Samsung_Demos_SGH-i505... just take a note though that this will be running on PALM OS, which means you can not run programs simultaneously, which is why some people will prefer the Pocket PC OS... whereas the Symbian OS advantage is that it can switch and load softwares very fast and it too can run programs simultaneously, lke Pocket PC and let us not forget the fact that the Symbian was designed for phones, whereas the PPC and PALM were both designed for hanheld PCs and are now being ported for phones... and one more thing the i505 was first called i500, but for some reason the i500 was shelved... hence the 1505 has a long way to go, just like the siemens SX1 and neonode- all smoke, but no fire... i just hope that SE will indeed release the P900 on 26-Oct-2003 as being mentioned by other sites... all of you folks just hang on to your money and let us wait, if SE will stand and deliver, I'm sure everyone wants a doer more than a talker...

                      Haha?... saying I'm bias huh?

Ask anyone who doesn't know that the SGH-i505 has a touch screen and a stylus and show them that picture.. do you think they'll notice that stylus hidden at the corner over there? No right? =P..

                      Think before saying. Thanks.

The other reason why I assumed it isn't touch screen is (other than not seeing the stylus) that there are buttons below the screen, and thought that would represent functions that would be shown in screen.

Is that a touch screen on the Samsung Haha?.. heh... how is someone going to touch it if it does not have a stylus? And if hands are going to be used on a touch screen of that size.. don't you think that people with fat thumbs will have a problem with touching the correct point?... Heh..

I'm not saying it's a good phone. It is =P.. Looks very fancy.. but I still think the P900 might outscore it overall. Size, the P900 is huge.. Understand. But so is the screen =P... I'm sure alot of people are just envious about that screen... LoL.. for one, it's better than that of my Palm.. =P

About the design being boring, I don't really think so...

It actually looks very interesting (P900). It's also very different from the baby blue P800 =P..

If you do not mind carrying a brick and you really want a full pocket pc functionality, coz you want to be able to run hundreds of programs available and be able to edit MS Word or Excell. Then check out the xda2 1st before serioulsy buying the P900. The xda2 could be the most serious competition for the P900 (well almost, since the P800 could still compete with it). I do that hope Nokia could join in the fray if they will release the next 92xx or 93xx with a BT.

What do you mean no stylus?

It is more convenient as you see the dimension. And Swivel screen. I alwasy thought about that swivel touch screen. It's so brilliant.

P900 is just clumsy and dull. Same style, and just replacement with 65k color screen for P800. SE doesn't have anyphone to beat samsung by quality and price ecept Z1010 and T610.

I just gt admin that T610 small 65k color brilliant. There is no phone like T610. But others....i don't think so
