I too have had problems with the P990i hanging and restarting. Does anyone have a solution to this? I feel so frustrated and wouldn't mind selling the damn thing!

i just got the phone and i love it by the way but i was playing with it then i accidentelly deleted my music dj and the other games on my p990i, is there a way i can get them back?

why does it still asks for a username & password in an 'absolutely free wi-fi zone'

i'm planning to get one as my second phone...based on he options you posted i see thr P990i is a nice gadget...humans don't feel any contentment..let's just face the fact that all phones has their own flaw...

i think you can use the mono bluetooth because i use my m600 with my mono bluetooth. thanks for the answer... and do you find it fast when u using the 4 gig memory card?

This phone has been in my desk drawer for 3 months now going to let it go, i give up, after the constant hanging, bad signal, self restarting, im going back to my normal slim phone... my opinion is based only from my own experience...

Yes u can use a 4GB Memory bcos that is what i am currently using and it works perfectly no problems.
Q: Is there a way of using the A2DP of the phone on a mono bluetooth head set cos in my country i have never seen a stereo one.

a great phone it has it`s problems but it worth every penny, i had mine for 2 months, good 4 music (A2DP it work great), video and browsing

The box does not contain screen protector as far as i am concern and regarding the alarm, yes it is a darn bug but download the latest firmware from SEUS and you will no longer encounter this. The music quality through speakers is better than w800i and K750i as I have tried it along with my friend's phone side to side and through headset its superb(Dont use the default p990i one in the boxset but get the one from the walkman series as I borrowed my friend's W850i headset the quality is the same through headset.)

I have a P990 now for approx 5 weeks. The jog dial stopped working, and now I am told to pay the equivalent of EUR 20,00 to have it fixed because I may have dropped the phone and thus have caused physical damage which is not covered under the warranty! My P910 is 2 years old, has been dropped umpteen times and the jogdial is still working! Has anybody had the same experience?

i notice a huge flaw with this unit, the alarm is way too soft. the strange thing is, the speaker is working fine(the maximum sound is as loud as any other phones), just that the loudest alarm volume is only 40% of the maximum loudness. Is this normal? or i am the only one having this problem? this is a serious problem considering the alarm is an important function.

2. Is this fone has MegaBass like d W series? How is d sound quality if using headset? Is it great?

i had the p990i for 3 months and found it to be slow and a bit unresponsive to be honest
and i paid £300+ so expected alot more than i got for my money
i sold the p990i on to a friend and went back to using a trusty p910i which kicks it ass for a fraction of the price
runs smoother and faster fair enough the camera n bluetooth arent as good but the phone itself is alot better
i dont recommend the p990i over a p910i

After making groups in contacts,there is no option to call the contact in particular group,which is not digestible.If anyone is having the solution please advice.
