To all those who keep saying buy this phone before it runs out as if tomorrow there will be no p990i's, this is not true. I will not have the funds for a month to buy one, and I have contacted several online ordering sites, and all have said that the p990 stock is pretty stable at the moment, this doesn't mean in a few months or so there won't be any, but i doubt that even b january next year they will be extinct from the market...So don't think you HAVE to run out tomorrow and buy one just because someone rants about them going out of stock. I'd say just don't wait a few months, but don't rush into it just because...

Hey I got the phone to accept calls while i'm browsing! In the Preferred Mode...i selected 'automatic' instead of 'PS' or 'CS'.

I attempted to update my phone yesterday the newest firmware available and evrything went ok except for the fact that my screen saver stopped working. Actually it comes on only when my phone is idle once an application is opened. But when the flip is closed or open only it refuses to come on. The moment i press the menu button and leave the phone idle, the screen saver then comes on.
Idk what is happening here. Can someone please help me?
The one difference that i noted when my upgrade was done was that my CDA code is different from what most people have posted here. Instead of: CDA162007/2 R6D23 i have
CDA162007/1 R6D23.
This is above my head and so i need some expert advice.

Purva,
P990 cost $350 in Los Angeles, CA-USA with no carrier contract agreement. I prefer PLEMIX.com for online orders. This phone has no warranty through dealers/Tmobile/AT&T becuase it's imported and unlocked. I signed up for 1-yr contract $69 T-mobile family plan and paid only $220 for 2 P990s. The price of this excellent phone is rediculiously low. But with 2 Nokia N93i, I have to paid $800 with the same 1-yr contract. N93i features is no way near this P990. You have to buy it now before they all sold out and you'll ended up with a used/broken one that dealers sent you. I hope this help. Again good luck on your new phone and I hope it's a P990.

time of incoming txtmsg. from some providers are approx.6 hours ahead to actual time.. does anyone facing the same problem??
(newest update dosnt solv the problem)

i wana buy p990i and just comparing it with p900. can someone tell that how much the screen size is different in these two handsets like is 990i bigger or smaller and how much as compared to 900.
