there is no joystick its a 5 way keypad means you can go 5 ways (up down left right and in the middle)5 ways

on the joystick you can only go up or down, you cant go left or write. and can you please tell me how to do the secret menu with out the keypad?

ok... Well i'm new with this kind of phones, and i'm thinking very seriously to buy P990, and i wanted to ask if you can take off the flip pad whenever you want and leave on only the QWERTY keypad...????????? Plz Plz Plz Answer!! =)

hi! this phone has wi-fi b. my router is wi-fi g. does a wi-fi b reciever work with wi-fi g transmitter? right now i can't make it work. thanks a million!

Well the guys who are having problem with the time of the sms.
Do check one thing go in control panel-->Device--->location
Set your current time zone & Home Time Zone same (by selecting the appropriate city of your location from drop down menu)
The Zone of interest will be changed.
But the time for SMS will be okay afterwards.

If i'm correct, depending on your service provider, the amount of characters allowed in an sms will differ. Just because you can write as much as you want in the sms, doesn't mean that it is all one message, this is true for any phone, not just the p990

I found one bug when i write sms
I write 180 chars of sms, it will be 2 sms'
than i erase 40 chars of sms, so it must be 1 sms
but when i will send the sms, appear message if phone will send 2 sms'
so i must pay 2 sms' for 1 sms :(
has anybody ever see this bug?

To LA_Holdem : i've tried three times to post it but somehow they(gsmarena) delete my post so heres one more try: right * left left * left star. try this combination. the directions are of joystick and star is the star key.

If u want long lasting battery timing then reduce its brightness as much as for u suitable and power save to blank if u r using 3G then ok otherwise select network to only GSM
WLAN if u use then ok otherwise thats also select to Disable
