Yes the phone can be synchronized
Yes it can both send and receive attachments, i tested it already.
NO, I tested opening a TIF/TIFF image file and unfortunately it wont open. it can see the file but wont display the image. i used the built in picture viewer of P990i. im sure there's a third party software than can view TIFF file format. Or you can always convert the picture to Jpeg or another picture format that p990i can open.
Yes it does have a built in spreadsheet and you can also install a d party spreadsheet software which maybe better.
NO it doesnt have a built-in MSN messenger but you can install a 3rd party software. im using Fring as my MSN messenger which also supports Skype.

at mike m. i can make the battery last forever......u know how???.................i can use p990i forever without charging. this can be done only inside your house. always plug-in the charger to your cell phone...forever....

I've bought it a week ago (291 Euro). Cool phone but the battery sucks. If i don't use it can hold for almost 2 days. Does anyone have any problem because some time, usally when i close the wlan, the application stuck.

whoa! maybe u just leave ur phone and not do anything with it...better having a phone with 2hrs battery life than 15 days battery without using it....whats the poingt dude.....

WOW, i think i just broke the record for the longest time without restarting or turning off the phone. it was on for 15 days 5 hrs 34 min and 15 secs. anyone beat that? hit me up!!!

use "GSM ONLY" in sending sms, youll find the settings in "SMS accounts".
this can save much of your battery life.

Guys, I bought my new P990, it's 3 days old now. I find the features really neat, however, battery life sucks. Is it true among other P990 phones? I noticed that when i use the internet using wi-fi, battery life drops down really fast. Even without calls, battery life doesn't reach full 48 hours. I even had the brightness adjusted down to 30%. Can anyone share their thoughts about P990's battery life? Thanks.

About P99oi? Well I bought this phone on friday and got stolen on sunday!! I freaked out! But eventhough I only have my precious phone in 2 days, I feel so great about it. It got big screen and a clear camera. I love texting with this gadget. My daughter love it too! But now that I'ts gone, planning to buy a new one!! Sad story..right? He he he

i just upgrade my firmware at s.e. mall asia and runs smooth and fast now. and used 4gb duo stick this gadget is cool now.

- Does it synchornise contacts/emails/calender/Tasks
- In send/receive emails can we attach files
- Can we open ana see TIFF format?
- Does it have any spreadsheet software?
- does it have msn messenger?

i got p990i like 12 days ago.From the last 2 days the fone is hanging up a lot.Yesterday this happened 3 times. The features and the outlook is soo gud that i dont wana change this fone.Is anyone encountering the same problem in 990? and secondly is there any way of encountering the problem

I haven.t bought this phone yet but has anybody encountered hang ups with the new firmware? I heard that the phone hangs a lot of times. But still I want to buy this phone. As for he looks and features, they are great. 3g with wifi for only 15k here in the philippines. cool bargain!!!

hello may i know the brand of your memory card which comes in the package when you buy the p990i fone? mine is scandisk.. it is supposed to be sony right?> because its from sony.
