All the problems and bugs I had with this phone were fixed after I updated its software. I recommend to everyone who encounters difficulties to do the same.

R10 is also a farce,no improvment same restarts jamms and everytime take out battery.SE has lost its TRUST n buyers,it is abt 6 months but still u cant enjoy its depth,always under pressure of its going off to improve performance.This set is a Black label on SE production lines,they must immediately intro P1110 to at least give a glow of trust.I am digusted that noi=body even dealers or Se outlet cant do anything but update it with same headache.I pity fr u SE get ur technicans to hard work.

I have no problem with the battery and the caller image.
About flash - I dont know if it has flash but the browser is also showing animations without a problem. It has only problem with TOO BIG sites.

hey ! can somebody know this device got flash player download? because without this software p990 cant browser certain website with many animation ! example ! help!

Does anyone has a PROBLEM with the call DISPLAY(Caller Picture)& the Battery .I used to have The P990I ,the battery ran out so fast (9hrs?)& the caller picture does not working .I have To REINSTALL & RESET The handset >>> Even with the NEW FIRMWARE ...Don't get me wrong SE P990i I agree it is a good PHONE & all the future are perfect for what i needed,but ........... some how now i end up with the NOKIA E61 (NO CAMERA)and i never any problem @ all so far

Just an advice if you don't want your phone to restart it self just whenever you open a program or the music player any kind of applications or anything close it when you done from the task manager and your phone will never restart it's a symbian OS phone you must close the tasks and applications after you finish even in nokia Symbian phones you must do the same.

and download the update service program install it ' start the program and the rest is easy the program will tell you what to do

Every smartphone has it bugs it's bother me couple of times but when i updated the phone it's great it's running perfectly the camera is good the web browsing music player every thing r cool in this phone i liked it alot thanx SE.

hi i already have a nokia 3230 with a 512 mb ram but actually it doesn't work well in speed issue
i want to buy a p990 can any one plz tell me about the oprating speed of the phobe by high capacity ram

everybody agrees that its a very good phone, i wish i can install windows software instead of the trash that comes with it. it drive me crazy when the phone rings and you press the answer button instead of answering the call it will shut down by itself. giving you the message: the phone has restarted to improve performance.
i wish i can sell it and get a new one instead maybe a Nokia.

well it might close if ur usin it 2 fast, but dat is rare... mine has neva froze and i had it 4 2 months and de only prob i do ave is when it closes but as i said dat is rare... if somthin is not workin probably then jst close it and open it and it shld b fine:) but believe me it supports nearly every thin and its very similar 2 an imate... well i think its betta :) well gd luck the weaknesses r not major cos its a very powerful phone and its made 2 deal wid stuff like dat...:)

i m using both p9900 n n80 both for 5 months. if u want just look than buy it but if u want functions dont ever think of it. i hav updated the latest version but it always disappointed me.

I got hold of this phone last month and I really like the design and the performance inspite of the software glitches.
The software bugs are taking the joy/fun out of this phone. Getting the update is another problem. SE, your site is very painful to navigate. Please can anybody provide the link where I can get software updates to cure the bugs and the MS Vista update of the CD so I can sync with my Outlook?
This is my 3rd SE smartphone & I will keep buying SE smartphones. But help cure the bugs, site navigation and the Vista updates.
Unless you want me to change my mind.

battery dosent last that long for p990i... is there any battery that you can buy that last longer than the stock battery? tnx
